The purring off the kitten awoke Avery halfway from his slumber. “Reo...?” He mumbled, still disoriented and weird. -
Reo had just finsished dinner when his boyf called his name. The boy placed the dishes down and ran to him.
“ don’t worry Avery, I’m here, I’ve got you.” He said as he hugged him.” I bandaged your wounds the best way I could, and I change dyour clothes so you wouldn’t get sick.” -
Avery gave Reo a big hug, squeezing him as tightly as he could. “Thank you Reo. I love you.” He said softly into his ear. The only other person who Avery really clicked with was John, and that had been over nearly as soon as it had begun. One relationship to the next Avery had hopped, always somehow making the wrong decisions. But with Reo, the world felt right again. Quieter.

Reo turned red “ ...I’ve never felt love, b but I think...I think I do now.” He admitted gently “ ar eyou strong enough to get to the living room or should I bring dinner in here.
Sapphire jumped on her DADDYS ( don’t u dare make a kink out of kitten love ) stomach purring -
“Depends on where my leg was shot. Was there an exit wound? How close to my knee cap was it?” He asked, suddenly concerned. “I kinda need that leg... for leg stuff...”

Reo told him everything. Sapphire pawed at her daddy’s chest. Wanting attention.
Reo giggled gently, he knew she was the only right choice of cats -
“Exit wound, good...” He tried putting some weight on it, and it hurt like hell, but not limping for rest of life hell. More like adding more medication to the list hell.He noticed Sapphire finally when she started head butting his chin. He laughed lightly, and scratched behind her ear. “Such a cutie.”

Sapphire purred happily , while the pair were distracted red brought dinner, he placed the luxury cat food in her special hole and put it in her corner, she jumped off to go eat. Ren brought a cloth.
“ here to wash your hands with.” He said gently setting out the start of the meal.
“ deep fried Haggis with a chili sauce dip.” He smiled.
“ spaghetti bolgenase for our main and I have ice cream in the freezer,” He smield , beautifully prepared dish was set in front of his boyf
The Haggis, four each, surrounded by a well dressed salad, and healthy amount of dip in a small ceramic dish. -

“Oh my gods, you’re right. He’s going to kill me.” He said, taking out his phone and calling John. “John? Hey, it’s me. I couldn’t get them. I uh... I got shot.”
*the sound of exasperated questions*
“Yeah, close range. It triggered an attack, mhm.”
*angry birb boi noises*
“Hey hey hey, I’m fine. I’m at a friends right now. I’ll be back when I’m better, kay? Tell the others that I’m alright. Bye.” -

Avery hung up and out his phone on do not disturb - no way anything was interrupting this meal.
“Jonas can be such a worry wart sometimes.” Avery said with a slightly laugh as he went in for his first bite.
