“A kitten would be the most adorable thing every I second that idea.” Avery said, glad that he choose a quieter animal.

Reo smield brightly. “ ok so what breed, and what name?”

“A Russian Blue is what you wanted, right? We’ll get that. And how about... Indigo? Unless you have a better name.”

“ I was thinking sapphire.” He mumbled shyly

“Sapphire is a cute name. Not as cute as you though.” Avery said, finger gunning at Reo.

Reo blushed darkly at him. “ that’s so cheesy.” He chuckled gently as he quickly kissed his cheek.

Avery smiled at him as they made it to the pet shop. Like most places he took Reo it seemed, it was loud in there. He took a deep breath and looked down at Reo. “Let’s go get ourselves a cat huh?”

Reo nodded enthusiastically, “ I’m very excited.” He said to him as he looked at all of the kittens.

Avery watched Reo look at the kittens, a soft smile covering his face. He couldn’t help but think about how pure all this was.

Reo carefully picked up a smaller than usual Russian blue, “ hello sweetie.” He said as he gently stroked her. “ hmm, you’re the runt if the litter aren’t you.” He said softly.
“ Avery, this is our kitten, we’re getting this one,” He said stubbornly as the kitten nuzzeled his chest. -
Avery walkied over and rubbed its ear, listening to it purr. “Yeah okay. If you want it it’s the one we’ll get.” He said with a smile.

Reo smiled happily “ we’re going to call you sapphire , is that ok.”
The kitten lightly butted his chest and he beamed as he carried her to the register.

Avery gave Reo a light pat on the head as they walked over. He did the paperwork??? Got the cat??? idk but Avery's buyin'

Reo picked up everything they would need for their precious child. I mean cat. “ she’s so cute,” He cooed gently. “ look she likes you.”he grinned as he held her up and she pawed at Avery’s face,

Avery giggled as Sapphire's whiskers tickled his face. "Sister snatched!" He yelled, grabbing the kitten and cuddling her close to his own body.
