"These guardians of yours don't sound like any fun at all." Avery said softly, sitting down in his seat. "I always say - if it's not fun, get rid of it."

“ yeah.” He agreed quietly, “ I did, a small long as I behave they won’t be getting involved with em for a while.” Reo grinned happily. “ I live alone.”

"You mentioned that. Why do you live alone, anyway? Seriously got nobody but these 'Guardians' to take care of ya?" Avery asked, pulling out his bun and braiding his hair.

Reo went quiet, “ yes, I lost my family when I was young” He said, but he didn’t elaborate further,

"Oh. Sorry bout that." He said, pausing his work for a moment before resuming.

“ It doesn’t bother me.” he said with a smile. “ what about you? do you have any family?” He asked curiously as he played with the end of his ponytail.

"Ah... my mother died when I was little, and my dad died about a year ago." He said, finishing off the braid.

“ I im so sorry,” He said quietly , he really shouldn’t have asked. “ do you like animals.”

"I love animals. Had a dog of my own, once. Named Ace. You?" Avery said, not conscious of how he had made Reo feel bad.

“ I was thinking of maybe getting a few animals.” He hummed. “ though I don’t know where to start.” He admitted.
( cute pet date where they get joint custody over a fur baby?) -
Fur baby is a pet not a hairy baby.

Avery lit up. "We should go get one then! I can't keep it at my place, but you live alone so it'll be perfect!" He cried, suddenly excited. -
“ I live in an apartment, so we’d need to pick one that would be ok living there but I don’t see why not.” He smield happily “ it’s a date.”

he smiled “ it’s a date” he told him tone further confirming how happy he was, -
Avery was beamin, something that didn’t happen often. “I can’t wait. See you after school? Same place as last?” He asked, already packing host stuff to leave.
