Reo has become distracted by the cat, he smiled gently as he picked her up, “ aren’t you just the cutest thing ever.”

“Wait, what do you mean by that?” He asked, concerned. He hadn’t planned to tell Reo about his... interesting Home Life. But now that was out in the open. Speaking of, Reo never said anything about it. What did you know? What did he do?

Reo, was confused by the question, and he held their cat out to his Boyf. “ cat is cute.” Reo offered with a confused head tilt, thinking Avery just didn’t understand him.
[ I keep forgetting Reo isn’t a native English speaker. ) -
“No, about earlier. About taking care of things.” He said, petting the kitten softly.

“ oh, that.” The German assassin nodded, “ I killed those men who hurt you.” He said as if he’d just went to McDonald’s and ordered a milkshake. “ Saphhire That tickles.” Red giggled as she nuzzeled his cheek.

“But- how?” Avery said, suddenly sitting up and then wincing as he accidentally put reassure on his leg.

Reo looked concern. “ are you alright?” He asked him as he checked his leg over again. Reo hummed gently. “ I don’t think it matters, how, just that I did.”

"It kinda does matter though. I didn't want anyone - let alone you - to know about all that."

Reo sighed gently. “ I’ve been trained to take out people like that,” he huffed. “My guardians, weren’t parents, they just took a bunch of orphans, and I happened to be the best.” He muttered angrily. “ I don’t care about he job though.....I’ve never been happy until I met you.”

Avery took a moment to process this information, running a hand through his long dark hair. "You're the most wonderful person I've ever met, you know that?" he said, with an airy laugh.

He smiled brightly and hugged him.

"Honestly though, how f---ed up is your life?" He said with a laugh, backing out of the hug.

Reo shrugged. “ I don’t really have anything to compare it to.” He said picking up the cat again” poking at the flesh on her paws gently.” Cold.”

“ you’re not mad?” He asked softly. As he cradled their child. Sapphire mewld at them sounding like she wanted Avery to hold her now, as Shen started pawing at Reo’s arm and moving her paws in the direction of her ‘dad’
