"Why would I be mad?" Avery said, hoisting Sapphire from Reo's arms and cradling her in his own. Avery liked cats, as he had voiced earlier, but mostly because he didn't like the loud barkings of dogs. Especially little ones. They were hellspawn.

Reo hummed gently, “ most people aren’t receptive, to uh, murder people?” He said with a head tilt. -
"...Oh. Well, I can't say I haven't seen it. Or done it." Avery responded with a shrug.

This seemed to cheer Reo up considerably. He smiled as he pet their cat.

"So, what now? I should probably tell John what actually happened. In fact... would you like to come to the base with me?" He said, attempting to stand, while holding their cat and also kinda crippled.

Reo nodded gently. He didn’t want his ...well he still had no idea what they were to each other, to get hurt again. “ if it’s not inconvenient, I would.”

"Great! Be my crutch, I don't have mine with me." He said, holding out his hand for Reo to take.

Reo instead just picked him up, sapphire jumping up onto Avery. Reo held him bridle style...he was suprismgky strong...

Avery let out a small noise of surprise, and started blushing. "Uh,,, okay. This is fine." Avery said quietly, smiling.

Rep grinned happily “ good because I dint feel like putting you down” he said brightly as he carried him.

"it's the warehouse on the corner of Fifth and Goodfellow; ironically enough." He said, burying his head into Reo's shoulder.

Reo nodded as he hummed gently, their cat snuggled against Avery’s chest. Reo eventually made it there.

When they got there, Avery attempted to hop down from Reo's arms.

Reo carefully placed him down. Saphhire jummped onto his shoulder,

Reo looked around curiously, having never been in this part of town before.
