Going to the medieval castle place *insert happy sounds*
Since Australia just wasn’t in existence to the Europeans in the Middle Ages it’s just a re-enactment thing and I love European history it’s so cool -
It was so fun
A lot of the stuff was closed off unfortunately so we were only there for a couple hours
It was built in the 1970s by a couple to house their doll collection (there were a LOT of dolls) and it was so cool -
I wore a jester hat the entire time and forced my sister to as well
There were a bunch of fairytale stuff and stuff about Scotland and the battle of Hastings so the courtyard was like legit a medieval courtyard and when you went upstairs it had like a bunch of doll countries, Scotland and late Middle Ages stuff and a bunch of fairytale models -
