Nia looked at Alex in surprise and looked anywhere but at him. "Uh... Hi Alex... You're eating dinner with us?" She asked in surprise as her mother served Shepard's pie to the three of them before sitting down.

Alex nodded, looking down in shame.

"Are you okay Alex?" Mother asked, afraid her advice upset him. Nia allowed herself too look at Alex, the thoughts of the earlier event leaving her mind instantly as concern softened her features.

He nodded "Yes, I just feel shame". He then took his fork, and took a small bite

"Why? You did nothing wrong." Mother replied. Nia wondered if it was because of earlier and blushed as she ate her food.

Alex nodded, silently eating

(Cause he didn't answer his mother )

(Oh ok.)
"Hey Alex, what exactly do you ever do for fun?" Nia asked, trying to change the subject from whatever it was that was bothering him. "Sports, Arts, video games, movies, books, games, etc? What do you like to do when you're not the Model Student?" Nia asked. -
(I can't even respond. I don know how)

"I don't have fun. I focus on my schoolwork as well as my responsibilities and duties as president of the student council, as well as grandson of the chairman"

"Well we need to change that." Nia cheered with a mischievous grin. "There's gotta be something you're interested in or passionate about, and it will be my new personal goal to find it!" She cheered.

"As long as it pertains to home.. other than that, be my guest"

Nia smiled, glad she now had a goal. Projects, besides clubs, were her favourite part of school. This was going to be a project she would work very hard on. It would be worth it to see him be passionate about something.
