Candace nodded and uncomfortably rubbed her arm. This could be a disadvantage against her, given that she was far more submissive and friendly as a human than as a hybrid. She better not get on this bard's bad side... Of course, if Candace were in danger she could defend herself as a human, and if she truly understands that she is not in the wrong and the other person is she could even attack. However it still was a bit unnerving for someone else to have power over her shifts...

“Healing spells are notoriously difficult. I’ve had more than just a few backfire on me, even when performed by skilled wizards or clerics. Then again, the injuries I get can be pretty severe.” Janus said with a chuckle, remembering simpler times.

Ink rubbed the back of his head "i could help you with learning the healing spells, i know a few" he said, adding the last part on as an explanation

Zander said "Can you now? Then I guess it was fortuitous that we met. The question is though, what do we do now?"

Candace shrugged and began walking away. "I'm pretty good on my own... You guys seem nice but my wolf isn't able to trust anyone just yet..." Candace replied as she walked down the trail.

“Well she left quickly. Hopefully she remembers her debt to me, because it’s bad news for her if she doesn’t.” Janus said, looking at Candace leave but not attempting to stop her. “Anyway, I’m not sure. Fate seems to have lured us together, but for what purpose?”

Ink shrugged slightly and looked around "no idea" he said before putting his arms behind his head and looking up at the sky in thought -
