Daniel said "I'm fine. At least we protected the iron. Mordac is one ingredient low. Unfortunately, this isn't the only place you can find iron. It's likely he might strike somewhere else. I don't believe we'll get to the other places in time."

"So what do we do now then smart guy?" Cassady asked, getting her usual spunk back as she put her hand on her horse. She lost all her spunk as quickly as she gained it though. Because turned out, she had gained back her energy, but not her strength. So when she attempted to climb onto the horse her arms shook with weakness, causing her to fall off. She held back her scream as she fell to the ground, the scream escaping as an embrassed growl as she attempted to get up with the horse's help.

Daniel said "Luckily, the only place to find petrified darkness is in the Great Stone Graveyard, where dead golems lie. Unfortunately, even with a horse, it will take two days to get there."

Cassidy was thankful he didn't notice her fall. At the same time though, she was pissed off. She sighed a bit angrily at herself before turning to him. "How long would it take for Mordac to get there?" Cassidy asked, her hands on her hips.

Daniel said "I don't know."

Cassady sighed. "Well, that's not helpful." She huffed, wondering how to get back on the horse without embarrassing herself. As if reading her mind, Claire lauded down. Cassady was about to say something to express her surprise, when Claire started munching on some grass. Must have been hungry. Cassady sighed with relief at her luck and got onto the horse. "We better get going then." She told Daniel.

Daniel got onto Cassady's horse and said "Let's hope we get there before he does." Suddenly realization hits him. He said "Wait, shouldn't we rest first?"

Cassady sighed. "It will take us two days to get there without rest. Which means, if we sleep every night, it will take us four days to get there." She told him, rolling her eyes in annoyance. She knew he was right and they needed sleep. However she wanted to sound more impatient and sure of herself.

Daniel said "True, but if we don't sleep, we might be too tired to stop Mordac when we get there."

Cassady sighed. "Where would we sleep even if we stopped here?" Cassady asked, deciding that her horse would have to go extra fast. She would have to find a place for Claire to sleep as well. And hopefully find a place to sleep where she and Daniel could have separate rooms.

Daniel thought for a moment and said "I know of an inn west of here, with a stable for your horse. We can rest there."

Cassady nodded. Hopefully they could get a free pass there since they were knights. If not, they could only afford to get one room. Cassady steered Claire around and turned West.

Daniel held onto the saddle as Cassady's horse rode on. He waited until the inn was in clear view before telling Cassady to stop.

Cassady didn't want to seem like she was obedient. So she went a little further than he told her to. For the fun of it she made Claire nearly run into the wall. Claire was smart enough to turn last minute and lay down to eat grass like nothing happened. Cassady laughed as adrenaline filled her and she got off the horse.

Daniel, happy to be alive and very angry, said "Are you insane? Why didn't you stop?"
