"We're coming to a crossroads. Which way Navigator?" She asked. Her voice was more soft and cheerful when riding her horse, rather than the usual forced dramatic, sassy voice.

Daniel looked at the map and answered "Turn left."

Cassady pulled on the reigns last minute, sending Claire into a swift left turn. She laughed a cherry laugh as she felt adrenaline rush again, turning Claire onto the path. This mission had been the most fun Cassady has had in a long time! Right now, she felt like her life was finally making a turn for the better!

Daniel held on tighter to the saddle as she made the sharp turn. He said "I really wish my horse wasn't sick."

Cassady laughed. "Oh Common Daniel! Lighten up!" She told him with a chuckle. "Tell me. Have you ever taken a risk for the fun of it before?" She asked. This was great! She was in the best mood she had ever been in a long time! Probably because of actually sleeping for once and not having to be woken up by a pervert she couldn't kick in the balls.

Daniel said "I don't like taking too many risks. It never ends well for me."

"Oh. Well that's a shame. Then again, there are some risks others take that I rarely take. Like sleep for example. Last night was the last time I actually sleeper in fifteen years!" Cassady told him. She realized that that wasn't necessary to say and a blush crept on her cheeks. Luckily, she was facing away from him.

Daniel was surprised at this. For one thing, rarely to people ever share how they sleep with him, but now he wondered why she wasn't sleeping. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"Nothing. That was a silly thing to share. I guess I'm just sharing nonsense cause of my energy." She told him, blushing at his concern. She felt a bit foolish as she allowed Claire to slow down, but keep going, so she could think more clearly.

Daniel asked "Are you sure nothing's wrong?"

"Wrong? I'm better than I've been for a long time." She told him with a smile. Then she realized he was asking if life in general was okay, and not her mood right now. Which means her statement made it worse. She shrugged her worry off, getting Claire to speed up her gallop again so she could avoid thinking.

Daniel was still worried, but he figured out Cassady didn't want to talk and let it go.

Cassady saw a puddle in the distance and smiled. She waited as she watched the puddle come closer, closer, closer, there! She whipped the reins and got Claire to leap over the puddle.

Daniel held on even more and thought This woman is going to be the death of me.

Cassady let out a loud cheer of glee and thrill. She heard Daniel's panic breath behind her and chuckled, stopping the horse. "You okay smart guy?" She teased with a smirk, deciding that would be her new nick name for him.
