Cassady made multiple stakes for bon fires. She surrounded the area, but made sure the stakes were hidden in places where they could still produce a lot of light. Cassady smiled at her work and saw the sun was ready. She got up on the roof and listened carefully.
-
Daniel saw the sun going down and hid in the bushes with some of the Stonetown guards. They waited for a while until a shadow figure appeared out of smoke. Daniel knew it was Mordac.
-
Cassady could see it. She started by lighting the torch furthest from the gaurds just to distract Mordac. Then lit the one closest to him so they could see him clearer.
-
Mordac looked at the fires lighting beside him. Daniel shouted "Now." and he and the guards ran to Mordac.
-
Cassady lit up the rest of the bonfires before leaping in front of Mordac. "By the name of the King, you are under arrest." Cassady told him.
-
Mordac looked at the knights that stood before him and said "So the king sent an Ice and Fire Knight to stop me. How jovial, to think they can get along. What are you gonna do?"
-
"I just told you. You're under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can, and Will, be used against you during the king's judgement." Cassady told him, ignoring his statement.
-
Mordac said "Fools, you will know better than to mess with me." He used his magic to surround the area with darkness, snuffing out the fires and making it so no one could see anything.
-
"s---." Cassandra kinda forced a blurted swear. She threw her hands to her side and groaned. She could use her fire powers to blast him. However she was worried of hitting Daniel. Why are you worried about him!?! She thought to herself. If He gets hit, that's his own damn fault for not getting out of the way! This Villian needs to be stopped, and you can't afford to look like a coward! She thought. She took a deep breath to raise her hands. Not able to see Mordac, she would have to wave the fire around. Much more a risk of hitting Daniel. Why are you still worried about that!?! You're looking like a fool right now![i]She thought to herself. She groaned and hit fire at the ground. The fire lit up the area very faintly, but enough to see Mordac. So she began to blast him. [i]Nice loop hole chicken. She thought to herself, feeling a bit angry now.

Unfortunately, while Mordac could be seen, he was too fast in the darkness to hit. He took out the guards helping them and then turned his attention to Daniel and Cassady. Daniel tried to freeze him, but he only got his arm, which broke free from the ice.
-
Cassady frowned when her blast missed. Luckily the fire lingered on a patch of dead grass so they could see slightly. However that was little help. So Cassady attempted to light the torches again. You need to let your fire free! Go hay wire! That's the only way to beat him! She thought, growling at herself in frustration. Why was she worried about hurting Daniel so bad anyway? The next time she caught a glimpse of Mordac, she took out her anger and used it to blast an overdone burst of fire at him. This was a poor choice, because although the attack was effective, it drained a lot of her energy.
-
Daniel felt the heat from Cassady's blast and it hit Mordac dead on, canceling his spell. Mordac was still standing and said "This isn't over." and he teleported away. Daniel held Cassady to keep her from falling over.
-
Cassady felt a large amount of chills when someone caught her from falling. She was too exhausted to subconsciously blame his powers for the feeling in his nerves, despite his cold hands, a warm blush went on her dizzy cheeks. Stupid move. Could have been prevented. She thought as she tried to stand. The longer Daniel held her up, the more risk of her getting... Ugh... feelings for him... The thought would make her want to barf if she really was who she tried to be. Instead she felt guilt and fear. She shook it off, holding her exhausted and dizzy head as she pulled away from Daniel's arms. She stumbled a bit, but was able to stand. She was careful not to fall as she looked around. Mordac was gone. And the wall had not been damaged. No iron was stolen. So did they win?
-
Daniel asked "Are you okay?"
-
Cassidy knew she was blushing. She hated it, but denying it would be risky if she looked at him. So she didn't look at him as her brain got enough energy to think clearly. "I'm fine." She told him, returning the fire on the battle feild. Collecting this fire gave her enough energy to walk without stumbling. She whistles for her horse to come and was able to shrug off the blushing before looking at him. She opened her mouth to say something rude or snarky, but instead she said "How about you?" Which wasn't sweet or shy, so wouldn't blow her reputation. However it wasn't rude enough to cover her earlier weakness. So she crossed her arms to add some sassiness to it. However since she was still a bit dizzy, it looked forced instead of natural. Which it was. She hoped he wouldn't notice though.
