(Sorry I've been a little sporadic with these posts, I've been playing Overwatch.)
Daniel heard Cassady's sudden rapid breaths and asked "Nightmare?" -
(That's ok.)
Cassady frowned and thought about it. She never had nightmares unless her teacher got too hands or she saw someone die during the day. She didn't have a nightmare. However she didn't want Daniel to think she acted like that for no reason, so she shrugged and nodded. -
(Do you play Overwatch?)
Daniel said "Well at least you're awake now. We gotta get going." -
(No. Sorry.)
Cassandra nodded and grabbed her stuff. -
(Darn)
Daniel grabbed his things and walked with Cassady to the stables. -
Cassady thanked the innkeeper and grabbed an apple from an apple tree for her breakfast. She grabbed a second one for Claire and gave to to Clare. She used her powers to melt hers slightly, making it soft and sweet.

Daniel had some bread in his pack, which he ate for breakfast. He said "Do you think we will have a better day today than yesterday?"

"I think we had a great day yesterday." Cassady replied. She wasn't going to admit it, But yesterday was the best day she has ever had since she was thirteen. That was when she had to start wearing a bra. Everything went down hill from there. So if they could have a better day today than yesterday, Cassady would want to stay on this mission forever!

Daniel said "No, I mean we won't underestimate Mordac again. We may have won yesterday but it came with a cost of almost draining your energy."

Cassady thought about it before nodding. "Good point... How can we match his power though?" She asked, climbing onto her horse.

"I'm not sure, but I'll see if I can't figure that out." Daniel said as he got on Claire.

Cassady nodded, waiting for him to hold on to the saddle as she grabbed the reins. For a split second, the thought of letting him hold on to her came into her mind. However it was quickly swatted away by common sense.

Daniel held onto the saddle and said "Are we gonna stand around all day or are we moving?"

Cassady shook out of it and whipped the saddle hard. Claire went speeding down the stone path. Cassidy's hair flew back as they rode down the path. Luckily it was fairly short so it didn't go in his face.

Daniel looked at his map again, looking for any shortcut to The Great Stone Graveyard. He thought about Cassady's short hair and the warm feeling he felt before came back. He shook it off and kept concentrating.
