"Ok. May I do it with another teacher?" I requested. "I hope you're not saying you have a problem with me darling." He replied, holding her chin tighter. "Er... No... I'm not." I muttered, lying through my teeth. "What was that?" He asked. "No, I do not have a problem with my teacher." Cassady said clearly, saying it exactly the same as when she insisted it while leaving the stable. "Good." He replied, taking her to the carriage. "Thank you for taking care of Cassady during your mission." He thanked Daniel. Cassady couldn't help but snort. She knew she had taken care of herself. Maybe took care of him a bit. But decided it be better not to say anything as she climbed into the carriage. She watched the teacher put on the bracelet so he could offer Daniel a handshake.
-
Daniel said "You're welcome." and intentionally made his hand cold and squeezed the instructor's hand. He just acted like that's the kind of handshake he makes.
-
The teacher took his hand away quickly and rubbed it. Cassady couldn't help but laugh softly. The teacher frowned at her laughter but forced a smile before getting in the carriage. Cassady burnt one of the carriage wheel's hub caps when he wasn't looking. Wouldn't be her fault if the carriage suddenly fell apart and she so happened to run away.
-
Daniel smirked at the teacher's forced smile and walked away back to his meditation area.
-
As the carriage traveled, an odd rattling was heard. "What was that?" Cassady asked, covering up her plan. "I don't know. Probably nothing." He replied. Suddenly, the wheel undid itself and the carriage was being dragged by the horses. Having to get out to calm the horses and stop them, the teacher was distracted. I went to the back of the carriage that my horse had been following. I calmed her down, then climbed ontop of her and galloped away. How unfortunate that the other two horses were too spooked to help the teacher follow her. For him of course, not for her. Cassady rode into the forest. So what now? She was going to have to survive off of the forest. No big deal really. She had the training to do that. She had fire, she had a weapon. That would be all she needed. Once she was strong enough, she could challenge her teacher. If she beat him in a proper fight, she would be the new instructor.
-
Daniel sat in his meditation room, trying to calm down. However, he couldn't stop thinking about Cassady, and their daring horse rides.
Little did anyone know that Mordac had already had a piece of petrified darkness and iron at his castle. He only went where Daniel and Cassady went to lose suspicion and because he enjoyed battle. He got captured on purpose to inflict a plan at night. -
"Okay. So what is in this forest that I can eat? There is a lake over there. There is a large bush of berries. I can fish for meet. What happens when I get sick of fish? There are rabbits in this forest, but I ain't killing a bunny rabbit." Cassady told Claire. She knew it was weird. She didn't care. Claire simply neighed in response. Cassady rolled her eyes. "I could kill a deer I suppose." Cassady replied. Suddenly she felt a darkness similar to the crystal. She frowned and looked around. She decided to ignore it.
-
Night soon fell and Mordac's plan went into motion. Unlike Cassady, the guards that brought him in didn't used the power restricting handcuffs. Mordac used his shadow powers to creep through the bars and past the guards. He went to the king's stables to execute his plan.

(Idiots. The other gaurds are idiots.)
Meanwhile, the instructor of the fire knights headed to the King's throne room to report that Cassady ran away. -
(I know, but they had to. He's not finished yet.)
The king said "Don't worry, I'll send someone to find her. I'm just not sure who though." -
(Ok.)
"Perhaps we can send that ice knight. She seems to trust him. And I don't know who she would trust. I'm the closest thing that girl has to a friend or loved one. And she hasn't got a family." The instructor explained. Although he didn't like or trust the knight, it was the best idea he had to get Cassady back. Being her teacher, he knew very well that she would easily beat anyone she didn't trust. -
The king said "That's a good idea. Messenger!" A man with paper and quill came in. He took the kings message to Daniel, telling him to go find Cassady. Daniel accepted and went to the forest to find her.
-
Cassady started getting to work on making a fishing rod. She made a hook from some steel wire and tied it to a string which she tied to a stick. She found a worm and put the worm on the hook before casting it. She wasn't able to find a fish, unfortunately. She sighed and put the rod away. She decided to eat some berries for now and walked into the deeper parts of the forest.
-
Daniel looked around and started calling Cassady's name.
-
Cassady heard her name being called. She crouched down, hiding in the bush. After a while she recognized the voice and hesitantly stood, scanning the forest and remaining alert as she slowly walked backwards to her camp.
