Elbereth was shocked by the door knob, as she turned her attention to Dorvakin. ''Please hide, quickly!'' She whispered, fear and shock clear in her features.
-
Dorvakin quickly dove under Elbereth's bed and crawled under to hide.
-
Elbereth fixed the covers, making sure Dorvakin wasn't able to be seen. If whoever is knocking on her door, hopefully they won't inspect the room. Elbereth prayed for they won't see him as she approached the door. A maid with a grin and cleaning products came.
''Hello, Madam Elbereth, I'm here to clean your room, you could read something as I clean, just don't touch the floors until they have dried,'' Elbereth nodded, sitting on the bed, spreading the large dress' skirt to better cover Dorvakin's hiding spot.
.The maid cleaned around the room, simply rearranging some items until, she gotten close to the bed in which cause Elbereth to shout. ''Don't look under there!'' She could've been anymore obvious as the maid rolled her eyes, lifting the covers to reveal the Drow. Silence filled the room, until the maid made a run for the bells that alerted the guards the princess was in danger. ''No!'' Elbereth said, attempting to stop the panicked maid. -
Once the made looked under the bed, Dorvakin knew he was in trouble. He crawled out quickly, ran for the balcony and down the vines. Unfortunately going so quickly, his foot got caught.
-
The maid rang the bell, guards following in, with their swords at their sides. The maid pointed to the balcony, fear, and horror on her features. Guards followed the balcony, the lot speaking lowly as the guards separated, some going to the main floor. ''Do not move, Drow! This will only make you a fugitive and further hurt your people's bad reputation!'' The guard shouted, anger clear in his voice. ''No, you got the wrong idea, he..we were simply talking, please he's fine,'' Elbereth said, brows furrowed. ''We cannot take our chances,'' The guard responded, fear on Elbereth's features
-
Dorvakin discreetly pulled a small throwing knife from his pocket said "Okay. But first." He then threw the knife at his foot and cut the vine. He fell to the ground, landing on his back. Not dead but not really able to get up quickly.
-
Elbereth gasped, leaning over the balcony's railings, her eyes trained on Dorvakin. Guards came, quickly grabbing onto Dorvakin, helping him up but, soon walking away with him. Her heart racing, Elbereth went to follow the guards and Dorvakin.
-
Dorvakin tried not to fight. He left this spear on the balcony and even if he had it, fight at this point would be futile.
-
-
Elbereth met with the guards, gazing down at Dorvakin, sadness in her eyes as she watched him be dragged away to the castle's dungeon. Her father came, his eyes on the Drow. ''Is something the matter, dear?'' He questioned Elbereth as she just stared, stunned as she watched them go down the hall. ''He's innocent father, he's innocent, he did nothing wrong,'' Her heart raced with panicked as she walked down the hall, following after them as that only seemed to make the guards feel irritated with the princess.
-
Dorvakin just watched as Elbereth followed them to the dungeon. He didn't say anything until they put him in a cell and closed the door. Once they did he said "So, now what? Do I just sit here and rot?"
A Drow disguised as one of the staff at the castle saw Dorvakin get taken and got worried. He hid around the corner to heard any conversations. between the guards. -
''No, you'll be given a trial, held by the King of course, with you here, perhaps we could get what we want,'' A guard said, a smirk on his lips. ''A deal with the Drows, pathetic, all we want is land and gold,'' Hissed a female guard as she eyed the other, her brows furrowed.
-
Dorvakin said "Telling the chief you have me will be a big mistake. He won't do ransom or surrender, you will be signing your own death certificates."
-
''Signing our death certificates, as far as we know we're stronger than your people,'' The brunette guard protested. The one with the mid-length green hair scuffed. ''We did steal your land, I'm sure he'll agree,'' The green haired male said, a grin on his face.
-
Dorvakin said "Don't count on it." He went to the bed in the cell and sat down.
