Dorvakin still kept a close patrol on the area.
-
After the observations, Elbereth was told to return home as Mrs. Julis is to control the overgrown flower. She sighed and dragged her feet walking home. The hope that carried her home was the note Dorvakin had sent her. Elbereth walked down the familiar path and kept her eyes on the notebook.
-
Dorvakin thought he saw trees moving but it wasn't a troll like he was worried about. Just birds.
-
Once returning, Elbereth took her time to relax. She sat down on a wooden bench, crafted by hand and looked through the notebook. The maiden went through her observations and thought of ways she could've done with the new found observations to help improve her abilities.
-
Dorvakin kept a close eye one everything, making sure nothing came to the village.
(I had an idea, but it might sound a lot like Pocahontas.) -
-
Sorry that I suck at responding to this soap but, what's your idea?))
Elbereth took this time, to lay down on the wooden bench, resting her legs over the armest, somewhat dangling her legs. Elbereth sighed, rubbing her eyes as she folded the paper airplane again and again until the creases were visible. She had placed the notebook underneath the bench and directed the airplane, pointing it to the sky as she looked at the clouds. -
(What if one day, one of the High Elves caught Dorvakin and Elbereth together but thought Dorvakin was assaulting her? Then he gets arrested and the Drows catch wind of this imprisonment and mount a siege to get him back?)
Dorvakin's shift soon ended and he walked back to the village to talk to some of his friends. -
I like it, it moves the plot along and definitely works toward them trying to destroy the discrimination between High Elves and Drows.))
Elbereth sat up, ripping out a sheet of paper from the notebook. She began writing on the page, explaining her day and how she adored his loving note. Elbereth decided to place the note on where they met, the chances of him seeing the note there would be better than having a messenger sending it to him. Elbereth smiled, reading her note and Dorvakin's note often -
(Cool, we'll do it when you want to.)
Soon Dorvakin got a summons to go to the chief's home to hear an important announcement. -
How about later on when it becomes night?))
Elbereth walked through the forest, humming a soft tune as she took extra cautions to avoiding the large flower where Mrs. Julis would be. This caused her to enter the Drows' territory but, close enough to explain it was a simple misunderstanding. Once reaching the log, Elbereth placed the letter down. To keep the letter in place she placed a large rock on top of the letter. -
(Alright.)
Chief Potentate rounded up all his men in his army for an announcement. It appears he has thought of a plan to finally take back the lands from the High Elves. Dorvakin now worried about Elbereth's safety. -
Once the letter was secured, she returned back to the village, heading the large home. Once inside, she could see then tension filling the air. The maids and guards whispering as she walked down the hall, missing on the gossip. Elbereth cleared her throat, to interrupt the tense air. Silence filled at last as she climbed the staircase, wondering what was wrong.
-
Chief Potentate's plan was to go the High Elf village and surprise them with a new weapon the village's scientists created. It was a piece of metal tube with a handle and a striker. It used an explosive powder to fire a small piece of metal into someone's heart or skull. He called it a gun. This worried Dorvakin and when the meeting was done, he snuck away to try and warn Elbereth
-
With the house tense, Elbereth slithered up the stairs and to her room. She took a deep breath, the comfort of her room causing her to relax. Elbereth approached the balcony doors, to allow fresh air in and to cool the temperature in her room.
