''Sure,'' Elbereth cheered as the children squealed in excitement. The game was simple, hide and seek in town's square as one of the kids were the seeker. Elbereth hid behind barrels, using her cloak to shield herself well from peering eyes.

Dorvakin said "Well good news is, I found someone I love. The bad news is, she's a High Elf." His mom didn't react aside from smiling which surprised him. As she sat up, his mom said "That's not a bad thing. This war has gone on long enough. I think you and your love can fix that."

With moments, Elbereth remained as the last player to hide. Their frantic shouts filled the air as they called the gane was over for the sun was beginning to set. Coming out from hiding, the children laughed and giggled. They all exchanged their farewells as Elbereth returned home.
-
Dorvakin said "I hope so." He noticed the sun going down and started to help his mom to bed.
-
Once home, Elbereth had headed straight for her room, bathed and changed out of her clothes. She wore a casual burgundy dress that reached just past her knees and black flats to match. As she waited for dinner to be served, Elbereth brushed through her hair and hummed songs she once listened to.
-
Dorvakin made dinner for his mom and himself, being certain to make it good.
-
With the dinner bell ringing, Elbereth made her way down to the dining room. Eventually, eating with her family in silence, with the guards and servants watching. Small chatter came and went, questioning about the hunt for Elbereth. Dinner was well and done, as Elbereth was dismissed to her room. She returned to her room and waited for midnight to strike.
-
Dorvakin gave his mom her dinner in bed and sat beside her to eat. Once they were done, he helped his mom sleep and went to his old room.
-
Soon, time went by and the old grandfather clock struck twelve, ringing throughout the large household. No lights were present in the halls nor Elbereth room. She stood from her place, grabbing the candle that was beside her bed. Using a match she lit the candle, watching the flame dance for a moment before leaving put into the dark halls of her home.
-
Dorvakin wondered what Elbereth was doing right this moment. He looked at the moon as he drifted off to sleep.
-
Once Elbereth wondered the dark halls, her eyes grew heavy with sleep. Her mind full of thoughts about Dorvakin. Her heart fluttered with joy, and her lips curved into a smile as her feet collided with the stone floors of the manor.
-
Dorvakin had a dream about him and Elbereth sitting and staring at the sunset.
-
Once returned to her room, she sat on the bed, thinking for a few more moments, about the relationship with the Drows and the High Elves. A sigh escaped her lips as she crawled into bed, the sheets rustling as she placed them on herself. Resting in the dark, the small warmth of the candle emitting to her pale skin caused her to sleep soundlessly.
-
Dorvakin woke up and stretched his back. He yawned and walked out of the room to make him and his mom breakfast.
