He didn't see Elbereth anywhere but he did find a note and he saw it was form Elbereth.
-
The letter said: ''Dorvakin, I appreciate the compliment and I may not be capable of seeing you but, I am sure you look dashing. Thank you for the warning and I took it all to heart. My love, Dorvakin, I will be home after my studies and I am sure no one will disturb me. If you wish to come and chat, perhaps have some tea that'll be lovely. I'll leave my balcony doors open for you. Love, Elbereth.''
-
Dorvakin now had a predicament. If he was caught by either the High Elves or the Drows, he could go to prison. He thought for a moment but he figured the warning was worth the risk and moving through the shadows, made his way deep into High Elf territory.
-
Elbereth walked over to the balcony, settling herself on the balcony's chair. She hummed softly, hoping Dorvakin's travel is safe for she should've put a map on the sheet of paper. Sighing, Elbereth combed her fingers through her hair, eyes facing the trees her balcony viewed.
-
Dorvakin followed the map to a tee and made his way to the balcony. He looked around to see if a ladder or anything else he could use to climb up was nearby.
-
Elbereth sighed, and leaned back against the chair. She took off her rings, her hand appointing to the trees. If she could possibly create vines, perhaps it'll stand out more. With concentration, vines sprawled from nothing and reached to the balcony, wrapping around her ankles. Panicked, she placed her rings back on and took a breath of relief.
-
Dorvakin saw the vines appear out of the ground and go up to the balcony. He then used the vines to climb up to see Elbereth.
-
Elbereth smiled, as she saw Dorvakin climbing the vines. ''Hello,'' She said, clearing her throat as she tugged at the vines that wrapped around her ankles. ''I-I just wanted to help, help you find a way up here and all,'' Elbereth said, her gaze falling to the vines that wrapped tightly around her ankles.
-
(You know you haven't made your character in Five Races.)
Dorvakin took his spear and started cutting the vines around Elbereth's ankles. He said "And you did a good job of that." He helped her up and said "I've come here to warn you of something." -
I just did now, sorry I took so long.)
''Thank you,'' Elbereth said with a smile, gazing up at Dorvakin. ''Warn me about something? What is it?'' Elbereth questioned, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her dress. Feeling anxious, she searched his eyes for the terrible news, in hope it wasn't as bad as she believed. -
Dorvakin said "The Chief has revealed he is going to attack your tribe with a new weapon. Once it's finished, it's gonna be given to everyone in our army."
-
''A new weapon? What kind of weapon? Perhaps I could tell my mother and father, to prepare our military for the attack,'' Elbereth said, gazing into the room, towards the wooden door.
-
Dorvakin said "No, I can't betray my tribe by telling you. But I can tell you this. It put all your bows and arrows to shame."
-
''Our bows and arrows? Then, what are we to fight with? Magic? Dorvakin, what am I supposed to do? I-I have to help the civilians, the children,'' Elbereth mumbled, her gaze shifting to her feet. She clamped her sweaty palms together, thinking what this possible new weapon.
-
Dorvakin held her hands and said "I know, it's a difficult situation. All I can say is find the best metal you can and make as much armor as possible."
