Since it was the Clearwater aquarium I got to see the dolphin from the dolphin tale movie
She was really pretty
Blue spent the rest of the class dozing off, awaking, zoning out, and dozing off again. I need to ask for my medication to be upped. He thought to himself. Every few months, he was put on more and more medication. The medication would work perfectly for about a week, and then slowly became more and more less effective. He would then either be put on higher doses, different medication, or both. At this point, he was taking about six medications. Three were for hypersomnia, two were anti depressants, and the last one was for supposed ADD. Both Blue and his doctor knew he didn't have ADD, but the doctor had believed it would help him focus better when he was drowsy.
Bulls---.
He signed at the idea of having to take more pills in the morning, afternoon and night. He felt the tiny baggy in his pocket which contained the pills he had to swallow before lunch. There were about fifteen of them. He knew his disease should be mild, but his doctor claimed it was like nothing seen before. Liar.
After about five minutes of similar thought structures, Blue jolted awake to the bell. Taking his glasses off, he yawned. Great, he thought, gym. . This was the class he abhorred most. Although he was quite thin, gym was not a skill for him, at all. The thinness he had was from the lack of eating over time, as he often would skip a meal or two every day on the weekends, claiming he had no time for it, as he typed away on his computer. Blue also claimed it was since his mind was constantly exercising, and that took a lot of calories. He also believed it was from being over medicated over the years, as sometimes the pills wouldn't agree with him. This happened especially when he had forgotten to eat and took his pills. Glorious.
He stood, rolling his shoulders back. He slid his stuff into his backpack. "Gym," he said to the mute boy behind him. "Wonderful." He said in a bland, sarcastic tone as he rolled his eyes. -
Aweeee that is so cool! :D
Liam erected himself, throwing his backpack on after everything was inside of it. He crossed his arms over his chest, puffing his cheeks out in response to Blue's statement. He was not sure how else he should have reacted to the sarcastic tone that was laced within the other boy's words. He didn't excel in social skills and so what to do in certain situations made him left in the dark. Tilting his head, he just decided to wait for Blue to begin walking in the direction of the gym. He was somewhat uneasy about how physical education would go and what kind of things he would have to do in order to earn an acceptable grade.
In Montana, the students had been capable of choosing whatever they wantedto do and that would be their elective for half of the marking period. Once the middle hit, they would choose a new one. It was simple. Participation in the chosen elective would result in an 'A-' or higher. He could distinctly pinpoint a memory in which Marina absolutely despised every choice and would come unprepared every single day until the end of the mid marking period. He'd enjoy seeing her catwalk into the gym like a model and give a small slip explaining herself to her gym teacher.
That reminded him to check his phone. He pulled the cellular device from his pocket, unlocking it and checking the newest message.
f--- you, Liam. You don't get to just apologize and think everything is okay. What you did was seriously unfair. Don't text me. Liam's face distorted into one of upset. He slid the phone back into the pocket and looked to Blue, throwing a smile onto his face for good measure. -
Yass I know
Also my heart holes hurt after reading that^^
Blue managed a small smile. Although he wasn't looking forward to gym, he forced himself to be somewhat optimistic about it. He wasn't athletic, at all, and usually wound up making a fool of himself during the class. This generally lead to teasing. Of course, he hated changing in front of the other boys much more. His eyes inevitably wandered in curiousity- something that he frowned upon very much.
The only thing Blue liked about the class was, now, two of his friends were in it. Rose, the shy brown haired girl, and Liam, the mute boy whom he had just met this morning. He was somewhat stoked to have Rose and Liam meet one another. Unlike Blue, Rose took a sign language class, and excelled in it. She had often tried to get Blue to take it, as she didn't like vocalizing very much. Blue never did. He said he didn't need a sign language class, everything he needed was on a computer.
This made Rose quite cross, most of the time. She called him selfish once. This was a shock, Rose was a hippie in more ways than one, and preferred to keep the peace. She was usually tight lipped about what bothered her, which bothered Liam even more. "I have a friend in gym I'd like you to meet. Her name is Rose," he told him, "She's very smart and knows sign language. I think you'll like her a lot." -
Did you say hi to my Uncle Robbie x'D
which actually wouldn't be too farfetched. he's a marine biologist
It hurt writing it
Marina got anger issues
Liam's eyes lit up like a young child on Christmas morning. Meeting people who knew sign language was always like a shiny gift wrapped just for him. He flashed a double thumbs-up. He secretly wished that the girl named Rose was sweet and gentle like Marina had been. Over the top individuals usually made him shy. He didn't like making assumptions about certain people, but it would be a total lie to say that he wasn't worried about how she might act. She had obviously learned sign language for a reason. He pondered just what reason that might be.
He formed the idea that she had possibly had a family member who was deaf or mute and that she wanted to learn for the purpose of enhanced communication. It would be something that they shared in common. He learned as much as possible about psychology in honor of his uncle, and with Rose, maybe it was the same thing. He licked his lips.
He pointed to the door and shrugged to show that he had no clue where he was going. His cheeks turned rosy as he didn't want to come across as pushy or impatient. -
I almost started screaming hi uncle Robbie out the window when parked at Walgreens
I can see that
"Ah." Blue said. "We should probably go, aye?" He marched out of the door, saying a quick goodbye to the teacher. The platinum haired boy walked down the hallway, grabbing the boy's arm to lead him along. He was quite gentle, his touch like a butterfly on his arm.
Stopping for a moment, Blue turned to the mute boy he had been dragging along. "The gym is in the second building," He explained to him, "A few other classes that you have might be there as well. Be sure to observe and check to see if you have any classes there. I have one- Biotechnology." Blue told him.
The second building was devoted to science, music, and most electives. One of such being the gym. The gym was medium sized, with blue and gold stipes adorning the walls. There was also a mural that was of a blue and gold striped wasp. This was their mascot- which he had always found quite silly, if you were to ask him.
After explaining this to Liam, Blue took a moment to look into the other's eyes, as if to check for any emotions. Blue could understand emotions. He could tell what someone was feeling. It wasn't easy for him, to be a sympathetic, but he had grown the skill over the years. The boy then began to walk off, at a regular pace, his hand still attached to Liam's arm. -
OMG xD
xP
Liam would have ripped his schedule out of his pocket at that moment, but he thought that that would idiotic to do. He would do it when he was done changing in the locker room, which he a bit weary about doing. Liam wasn't entirely too buff, and had some light muscle to account for, and he was worried that the other guys would belittle him for his size. He pushed that worry to the back of his head in order to devote himself to listening to Blue's directions and advice.
As they passed some people, he would give a little wave of the hand as a greeting. He thought that if he came off as such a person that was nice and approachable, it would be easier for him to ask for help if it came to be that Blue was not around to do so. He wanted to verbally thank the other for being so generous to him, and knowing that it couldn't upset him slightly. This happened each time he moved somewhere brand new. It happened with his best friend in his first home, Vermont. It happened with Marina when they moved to Montana. And here it was happening with Blue. -
Haha yeaahhhh
Blue smiled lightly as he walked. He was quietly elated to have a new friend. Blue didn't have many friends, that was clear. Although he was quite friendly and social, not many people stuck with him. This often made no sense to the boy, but perhaps it was because he often enjoyed deep conversations about life, love and philosophy. He also talked about computers a lot, comic books and music as well. He was a bit of a nerd, sure.
Most of his friends were as well. Rose loved reading books and comic books, Shakesphere was a favorite of her's. Adam, another one of his friends, was a band geek and loved music. He played five different instruments. Nadia, Adam's girlfriend, loved sciences and animals, and wanted to be a biologist when she was older. She spoke three different languages. Charlie was another one of his friends, he was in love with video games and computers, much like himself. -

Blue walked out of the school as he thought about this. He let go of Liam, smiling slightly. It was drizzling out, and Blue quietly apologized for the fact they had to walk through the rain. It was quite unfortunate, indeed. He even shrieked a little when he realized it was raining.
"Here we are," he said, walking into the second building. "I have two classes here, myself." Blue told him. The gym was right in the front of the building, so it wasn't much walking once they got inside. "Ignore the awful colors on the walls." Blue told him, chuckling lightly. "The locker rooms are right over there." He turned, pointing to the locker rooms on the other side of the gym. "Ready?" -
im so angry because i took your mcr quiz and f---ed one word up on the last question :'(
Liam's eyes softened up when he saw that it was raining. An escalation into a thunderstorm would ruin his day in a matter of a few seconds. He hoped that it wouldn't. He was never sure why he was so afraid of them. His first time really experiencing harsh weather conditions was in 2003. Hurricane Isabel, which caused thousands of dollars of damage, had been swinging around near Vermont. Loud and vicious thunderstorms plagued his neighborhood for a while. As a three year old, the booms of the cracks of thunder and lightening made him hide away in his parents closet, plugging his ears and shaking tumultuously with baby tears falling down his face.
This reaction had only changed a tiny bit since then. Thuderstorms still sent him into a fit that could only be helped by certain people. Before he followed Blue into the gym, he looked to the sky, mouthing a few words to it as if he could control the weather. Once he was inside with the other boy, he very hesitantly nodded in response to Blue's question. He didn't stroll off to the locker room just yet, however. He did not want to go alone.
His gym clothes were in his backpack. He wondered how the locker system worked. In Montana, the boys all had a specific locker that they would keep their belongings in for the entire year. Here, he wasn't so sure if that's how it worked. -
Lol that question is designed to hurt you
Blue nodded, "Let's go." He walked the other boy into the locker room, where he was shocked to see many boys already had their clothes off. Many had large muscles, and Blue couldn't help but sigh quietly at the sight. He walked into the corner, where he opened up his backpack, where his gym clothes resided. Blue kept his eyes low, biting his lip gently. Many of the boys were laughing and flexing their bulky muscles.
He glanced up for one moment, and almost passed out. However, he did catch a good glance at the locker room he had seen so many times before. The lily white walls were always an eyesore to blue, not that locker rooms had to be necessarily pretty. Many of the boys took their time changing, their shirts and pants off. They laughed loudly, boasting about their weekends and romantic affairs.
Blue found it quite amusing to listen to, though. As he couldn't relate in the slightest. Never had anyone over to his house; even though he had lived in it all his life. Her had only been to two parties, which composed mainly of geeks and nerds. However, contrary to popular thought, geeks weren't goodie goodies. Some for drugs, some drank. Blue wasn't much to do that, though. He just enjoyed being around people.
The boy sighed, reluctantly taking off his shirt. -
well it did D'x
Liam looked like nothing short of a puppy who had lost its owner. He brought his thumb up to his mouth, nibbling on the nail. Looking around for a moment, he threw his eyes to the ground once he spotted the office for the gym teachers. He made his way to the office, walking inside and staring at the choice of teachers. He looked at his schedule, finding that the base teacher he had was a man named Mr. Gordan. He found the desk with that name plate and stepped up to it.
Mr. Gordan, a younger man with jet black hair, made eye contact with the sixteen year-old, his face twisting into one of recognition. He clapped once, pulling a green folder from the stack he had built on the corner of his desk. "You must be Liam! I am Mr. Peter Gordan. You can call me Mr. G if you want...Oh." He made a face. "I'm sorry. Don't take that to heart. I have never had a mute student before. It'll take me a little bit to get used to it." Liam's face immediately flushed with a sheepish demeanor coming over him. "Here." He hand the younger the folder. "All the information you need is in there." He thanked the elder, exiting the room.
He sifted through the papers in the folder. A variety of them were papers detailing the different sports that the school had. In Vermont, he'd played ice hockey and in Montana, he didn't take an interest in any of the popular sports. He could not predict himself trying out for any of them, and so he placed the multicolored sheets into the nearest recycling can. He noticed a few peculiar looks in his direction, but he chose to avoid the faces.
Discovering that his locker number was 2-175, he set off to find it. Fortunately for him, the locker room was a smaller scale area than the entire high school. It only took him a minute or so to find his locker. He meticulously entered his locker combination, clicking it open to find that it was empty. A look around revealed that no one was in his section just yet, and so he pulled off his shirt, folding it neatly and placing it inside the metal 'closet'. There was a light pink scar that ran along his side from an accident he had when he was thirteen. He ran his fingers along the scar before pulling on a blue tee shirt that had a caricature of Invader Zim along the front. He pulled a black sweatshirt on over this.
He made sure the coast was clear once again before taking off his pants, folding them, and throwing them in along with his shirt. He put on black sweatpants and light blue sneakers. He shook his hair, closing the locker and settling his backpack in the corner of the section. He had made sure to put his cell phone in the locker with his clothes to keep it safe. Since he was finished dressing, he went to the entrance of the locker room to wait for Blue. -
Good good
Blue felt himself beginning to sweat already- and the class hadn't even started. He hadn't an idea why he did this, or why he felt this way. He hated it. Why couldn't he be like the normal guys? Why did he feel this way every time he saw the people in the locker room? Could he undo this awful curse? Blue hadn't an answer to any of these question, and it flustered him. His face was a light pink. And, pulling his short sleeved orange tee shirt over his head, he hoped no one noticed. The shirt was an awfully bright orange with a moose on it. Across the chest, it read Colorado.
The light haired boy sighed quietly, leaning over to grab his shorts. They were black with orange stripes on the sides. Honestly, he hated the color orange, but he enjoyed it's vibrance. The boy took off his comfortable jeans, reluctantly, ignoring the odd feeling that was pulsing through his body. His face was now a bright red. Some boys took notice and asked him what was wrong. "N-nothing." He sputtered. They chuckled quietly, taking amuse to the boy. He quickly put on his shorts, clasping his hands together in front of him.
He walked back to the entrance room. He was elated to see that Liam was there. However, he couldn't deny the shaking feeling in his gut. He hoped that Liam didn't notice his flustered cheeks- but it would be impossible not to. He began to search through excuses in his head as to why his face was so red.
He found quite a few.
'They were telling jokes and I was laughing. My face turns red when I laugh.'
'it's awfully hot in there, I don't know.'
'I don't feel well. Could be my meds.'
'They were making jokes about my forearms. It was mortifying'
He decided the first or last were the best and most realistic. He decided to go with those if questioned on his appearance.
Poor sexually confused blue :/ -
The very first thing that Liam took into consideration about Blue's appearance was the moose along the other boy's shirt. He definitely looked like he was laughing, but due to his inability to speak, the chuckles only came out in puffs of breath. He pointed to the moose when he relaxed to a certain degree, giving a thumbs up. When his eyes moved up to the boy's face, his eyebrows furrowed in a perplexed fashion. He used his pointer fingers to gently touch the boys cheeks as if to ask why they were so bright.
He automatically put his hands by his sides once he was finished, hoping he would get a response rather than be brushed off. Marina did that every once in a while when she was feeling lazy in terms of talking to him. It always hurt. Thankfully, the positives about the girl outweighed all of the negatives.
This thought made his mind recall just how much she had leaked in throughout the entire day. It was clear that he missed her and was upset over what she had said to him. In current time, his eyes softened once more. He didn't look sad or anything, and the shift was something that only Marina and his parents ever used to notice. He grinned again. When a person was in his shoes, they would most likely feel as though they smiled too much. In his world, it was the only real way to show that he was alright.
i feel really bad for him tbh xC -
Blue smiled, looking down at his shirt. Apparently the moose on his shirt was quite comical. He liked this shirt, although it wasn't nearly as comfortable as his favorite sweatshirt, which he had named David. He spent most of his life in that sweatshirt, honestly. Blue would sleep in it, spend most of his day in it. Every once in a while it would begin to smell, and he would have to wash it. That would be the one day he was without his sweatshirt. Of course, when he was dragged along to school dances, he wouldn't wear it. He would wear his dad's tuxedo and dress shoes. All were a bit big on him, which made him look inevitably awkward.
Blue sputtered words out, trying to explain why his cheeks were so red. His mind completely blanked when the mute boy questioned about his cheeks. "Erm, erm.. I-I-I.." Blue frowned a little, crossing his arms. "Well, you see.." He began to stall, unable to explain. "I just.. Get red.. When in the locker room." He forced a small smile. Blue was mortified. Absolutely mortified. He wanted to hide his face in his hands.
Luckily, the gym teacher called the boys and girls out of the locker rooms- saving him from further explanation. They were informed they were playing dodgeball today. Blue groaned under his breath- this would be hell. Everyone always threw too hard. Then the picking of teams commenced. Rose was a team leader, and so she wound up picking Liam and he. She also picked some of the athletes in the class, saving her from being hit.
A lot of the boys liked Rose. They thought she was cute. This was so secret to almost anyone- but Rose constantly denied it. He hated watching the boys eye her like a piece of meat. She was more than that, and they lacked understanding of her. Damn.
"Rose, this is the new boy, Liam." He introduced. She waved, obviously reluctant to speak.
