Blue looks emo when I draw him and Liam legit looks 10 bc he's short compared to Blue
Blue smiled a little bit at the boy's excitement to go outside. His wide, excited eyes made him look a bit like a happy puppy that had not yet found his bark. He smiled gently at that thought. It saddened him deeply that his friend was unable to talk. Of course, he accepted it, but part of him foolishly hoped that doctors would find out how to cure Liam.
Not that Liam was suffering from a disease or anything. He just wished he could help Liam. However, some things weren't meant to be, he supposed. Like the earlier conversation they had earlier about fate and destiny, some things couldn't be escaped. Some things weren't able to be changed.
Blue got his shoes on and then opened the door for Liam. "Remember," He said quietly, "Try to be as quiet as possible." He had almost told Liam to keep his voice quiet, but caught himself before that thought had slipped out of his throat. -
emu emo blue and teeny ten y/old liam
The teenager remained as absolutely silent as possible, stepping out of the room without making a single sound. He was sure to plant his feet in a way that his meticulously cleaned shoes would not make a sound against the hospital's flooring. He looked both ways into the hallway before fully exiting, looking to Blue as if to ask which direction they should venture off in. He itched behind his ear while he waited, inhaling deeply.
He hadn't noticed it before, but he discovered how much he disliked the smell of the hospital in that moment. It was too clean, and even offered a hints of various cleaning chemicals. It was enough to cause tiny goosebumps to form on Liam's skin, the hair on the back of his neck standing up. He was unsure as to why it was causing such a strange reaction, but after a few deep breaths, his body became tranquil enough to avoid it.
He found himself feeling just a bit uncomfortable without Paxton at his feet. The dog had been a gigantic help to Liam and a bit to Blue over the short time that the pair had known each other. Being without the happy-go-lucky pooch was different, but it was something he assumed he would get used to. In the meantime, he deemed it best to focus on Blue, as he knew what he was doing whereas Liam did not. -
Oh yus
Blue tip toed down the hall quietly. He kept a sharp eye for any nurses that might appear and coax him back into his room. He grinned a little as the door to the outdoor world neared. He longed to smell the flowers and the fresh rain.
Even though it hadn't rained for a month. Regardless, he could dream. Blue quietly opened the door, cringing as it slowly creaked open. He thought a silent prayer to any higher being that he wouldn't be caught by the nurses or a doctor.
Luckily, apparently that higher being listened. Blue helped Liam and himself outside without a problem. Once out, he casually maneuvered to a nearby park, grabbing Liam's hands and swinging them as they walked together. He didn't say anything, enjoying the moment. -
:3
The boy found it to be somewhat amusing to sneak around in the hallways. It was reminiscent of a comedic drama, one where Liam and Blue were the main characters. It made the smaller male replay much of what had happened to the both of them over the course of their couple of days together. He repeated many of the events as if they had been scenes from his favorite movies. It was magical, thinking of their time together like a big-screen cinematic production.
He inhaled deeply when they stepped outside, happy to be free of the unpleasant smell of the hospital. He also felt a liberating sense of freedom upon being outside. The two were no longer in the room, where there was not much to do other than chat and watch some kind of program. Being outside offered an entire catalog of new activities to partake in.
He held tightly onto Blue's hand, taking in the new environment to the best of his ability. Though there was an overwhelming sense of worry bubbling in his stomach, he liked to believe there was no possible way they would be caught. Eventually, they would make their way inside, situate themselves once more, and it will be as though they never left. He liked the sound of that. -
anyways whats up goyle
Blue leaned over and kissed the cheek of the other boy in complete contentness and bliss. He grinned from ear to ear as they walked. He swung their hands as the park neared. The park was near a small lake with many birds, geese and squirrels. However, much to his happiness not many people went to this park as it was so close to other buildings. Such as the hospital and a few business towers.
Blue found that as they entered the park, only a few teenagers playing frisbee and messing around were there. Normally, Blue would feel anxious around kids his age. He was used to being beat up and jumped on the streets, after all, he was raised in the city. However, to his relief, these teens didn't pay any mind to them. If he didn't know better, he would've even thought that they haven't seen Liam and he.
He walked down a dirt path that lead into a small forest near the lake. Many birds chirped and some bugs hummed in the trees. The sun was out and was beating down on the canopy above them. Not much light made it through, but that which did shone in his eyes through his large framed glasses that he was forced to wear by the doctors.
Why he kept them on even though he was out of the hospital was even a mystery to him. Blue hid it, but he was anxious of getting caught snuck out. He had only been caught once in the countless amount of times that he had visited the hospital and it wasn't pretty. There was a search team sent out looking for him and everything. And when he returned to the hospital, he had two guards on either side of the door to ensure that he wouldn't leave.
Yeah. It wasn't pleasant in any sense of the word. -

kill me i have sucked at responses lately gurgle gurgle
As Blue lead the shorter male through the area and to the park, Liam permitted his mind to wander. As he would take notice of the various flowers, rocks, buildings, and people, he attempted to determine his favorite aspect pertaining to each one. It was a somewhat fun internal game, something that he had gotten used to due to his condition. Sometimes, trying to communicate his means of enjoyment weren't worth it, so he kept these games to himself.
Internal games had been played and utilized by the sheepish male since he was a tiny child. He would pretend to have conversations in his head, maybe with a rubber duck or a minuscule Lego-man. Perhaps he would have one of them in the same life as himself, as he had, at one point, believed that lacking speech was completely normal. As he grew, however, he was exposed to more and more people that were able to laugh, giggle, cry, speak, yelling, and a host of others. It was discouraging to Liam, but he learned to use the games to benefit himself.
Now, however, he was appreciative to have somebody such as Blue to communicate with in their own peculiar way. It was something that Liam would always express his gratitude for as even though he had made a decent amount of friends throughout the many states he had lived in, he had never met somebody like Blue. The other boy had been so willing to put so much in in only a short period of time that it was almost able to make Liam's head spin in bewilderment.
As they found themselves near the lake, his eyes widened once more as he swallowed. He shook Blue's hand, squeezing it gently as he pointed to the area. He had always enjoyed bodies of water like it, finding the blue waves to shine like crystals underneath of both the sunlight and the moonlight. Taking the time to admire such a mesmerizing part of nature was much of what he wished to do in that moment, so he prayed that Blue understood. -

Blue nodded to the shorter male. He played with his own platinum hair, in which his strawberry roots had started to grow out. He had just noticed this earlier in the morning, while staring in the mirror, tired and zombie like. Blue walked over to the lake, his eyes glittering at the sight of the large body of water. The color of the water was only a mere few shades lighter than his own glistening indigo eyes. His eyes were the color of a pre-sunset sky, before the sun had begun to set, but when the sun was just preparing for her journey across the night.
He glanced at the many stones and sand along the shore. Unlike many parks, this park had a beach. It was made of sandy white sand and light grey rocks, for the most part. Blue had always enjoyed spending time down by the lake. Sitting on the bench, watching birds and geese, creating small pounds of rocks and taking pictures of them with a cheap Polaroid, even swimming if he was feeling risky.
However, the weather was a bit too chilly to go swimming. They were getting there, but not yet. Plus, he wasn't sure if the other male would be comfortable with being shirtless or seeing him shirtless. Although pretty confident with his body, Blue could see himself turning scarlet with embarrassment even being partially nude in front of the other. He wondered if the other boy was self conscious in any respect. Of course, Blue couldn't just ask him. So, he kept his thoughts to himself and enjoyed the quiet moment. -
