BOOM SHAKA LAKA
Liam flopped back against the bed in response to Blue's first statement. A grin crawled across his face like a caterpillar. The amount of amusement he found in the silly action he had performed made him want to laugh. He wondered what his laugh would sound like if he was permitted the ability to speak. Would it be a high pitched cackle like that of an aging, malevolent witch? Or would it be more along the lines of the soft, endearing laughter that both his grandmother, Uncle Peter, and father owned? The type of laughter that made everyone believe that every last thing that was ever a problem would diminish and never come back. It was the type of laughter that lightened up a conversation and never, ever failed to do so. Thinking about the sound of it made Liam smile, yet also somewhat discouraged. He focused more on the positive side of his string of thoughts.
He turned his head to peer at Blue when he questioned him about the water. With his loving smile, he granted the other boy a nod, finding that he was actually fairly parched. The male linked his hands together, resting them on his stomach while he stared at Blue. It was so odd how attracted he was to the other individual in the room. It was mind boggling and confusing but enticing and beautiful. He swallowed heavily, sighing happily at the thought of maybe one day being in a relationship with Blue. The things they would do, the places they would see, the foods they would eat, what they would buy, the limits they would push. It was all so lovely to even allow for a single moment of letting it completely take over him. His smile grew.
One day, he knew he would find love and a relationship. The feelings that were pressing him had only just begun to sprout. He had never truly felt anything for anyone else. Blue was a different story, as clich as it was. Liam couldn't imagine himself doing anything with anybody except for Blue. He waited for Blue to bring the water as he had offered. -
Eep sorry lol
The blond boy set his own water on the table, immediately rushing off to get Liam a glass. Blue wondered how tired Liam was- and if Liam was feeling anywhere near the exhaustion he was. Blue could easily fall asleep at his feet, but he hoped Liam was much more awake than himself. Blue was aware he was a bore, and probably going to begin boring Liam very soon.
Regardless, Blue was careful with how much ice he put in Liam's drink. He wanted Liam to have a decent amount of water, but wanted it to be cold- cold as ice. Blue hoped Liam's teeth weren't sensitive. Blue had dealt with sensitive teeth in the past and it made it very hard to drink cold things- it could hurt almost. He didn't voice this concern, though, as he passed Liam a drink and sat at the kitchen counter once more.
He glanced at the pad of paper in front of them; their only means of communication. Blue supposed he would have to learn sign language soon, as his own passion for Liam far exceeded what he expected the difficulty and bore of sign language. Oh, well. Anything for love, right? Blue smiled a little, asking Liam what he supposed he wanted to do. -
no apologies needed xD
He very carefully pulled himself back up to a sitting position, taking the water. His hair was sticking up around the middle due to laying on the bed. The boy sniffles, swallowing back a yawn. He brought the cup of water to his lips, daintily sipping at the cold liquid inside. His lips showed that he mouthed the words thank you. He wondered how he could effectively express his decision to Blue, and so he eyed the room while he downed the rest of the drink. His eyes spotted the television and he grinned wildly. He knew exactly what he would be required to do.
He stood up from the bed, pointing at the television for a few moments. To show the word 'but' he poked his own posterior out, placing a hand on it and laughing in the silent way he did. He then flopped back onto the bed to show that he wanted to lay down or sit while watching the show they decided on. He turned towards Blue to figure out whether or not he had received the message. It was rather enjoyable to put his words across in such a way, almost playing charades to do so.
As he waited, his mind played through just how the day may go. It was almost like a movie reel, different calm and hopeful images playing out in a sequence. He pushed the thoughts away, wishing to focus on the current moment. Being distracted would mean he would miss Blue's answer. If he wasn't totally sure, there was always the notebook, but that wasn't as fun. -
*apologizes more*
Blue nodded a little, chuckling. "Yeah, yeah." Somehow the blond had understood the message that was put across for himself. The television was a medium size, which he was grateful for. Too big would be almost overwhelming and too small would be too small to see. This was perfection.
He finished his water, he had gulped it down, and threw the cup recklessly into the kitchen sink. It hit with a loud noise, and ice shattered as it hit the stainless steel. This created quite the chaos for Blue, but he didn't mind. In fact, he giggled quite loudly at the conundrum.
After this happened, the boy hopped and skipped his way over to the mute boy. He was looking cuter than ever as he laid on his own hospital bed, which rest in front of the television. Blue observed this happily, plopping down next to Liam on the small bed. Blue reached over to grab the remote, deciding to search the channels for any shows that he liked that were on at the moment or on On-Demand. Eventually, he found an On-Demand British program that offered Doctor Who, and so he selected it. It was the new doctor who, which he was happy for, as he desperately needed to catch up on it, and hoped silently Liam hadn't already seen this episode. He turned to Liam, tilting his head and asking, "Have you seen this episode?" -
nuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Liam itched his belly for a moment before adjusting him so that his line of vision included the TV. His eyes darted over the details on the screen. In reality, he had only seen one or two episodes of the show, and that was only because Marina had been a diehard fan and forced him to watch it with her on a couple occasions. He did not wish to explain that he knew close to nothing about the program, and so nonchalantly, he smiled, shaking his head in response to signify he had not seen the episode. The boy pulled in another yawn, focusing on the television screen as he waited for Blue to press play.
The taste of drowsiness rested patiently in the back of his throat. He could feel the heaviness of his eyelids, almost like he had tiny men pulling on them. He assumed that he would not be able to stay awake for much longer, so he figured her would doze off sometime during the episode. He would attempt his best not to do so, however, as he didn't wish to offended Blue in any way. He wanted to like what Blue liked, understand what made him happy and how to keep him in that state of mind. Maybe he would wait until the end of the episode. There was no real way to tell.
He wondered what the show was truly like. When he watched with Marina, he had not paid attention too much. He had been uninterested, shrugging whenever the female asked if he was enjoying the episode. But maybe this time, with Blue, everything would change. Maybe he would find the spark that would hook him into the show and have him hang on for a while. He smiled even wider at the thought. His cheeks were already beginning to hurt. -
s--- s--- s---
Blue nodded at Liam's response, turning to watch the program for a few minutes. Immediately he realized it was one of the earlier episodes, definitely from the first season. These were his personal favorite so far- being the fact he was still on the first season. He chuckled a little as the events began to unfold- even so early in the episode. "You'll have to write down for me later what kind of shows you like and which shows." Blue told him, shrugging. He supposed Liam could get him into a new series or two, in which he desperately needed. The boy was on a drought of shows to watch, he hadn't truly gotten into a series for a while.
The platinum haired boy was quite tired, and was fighting the urge to fall asleep right next to Liam. Blue hadn't had his medicine yet this morning, which resulted in him being quite drowsy and easily falling asleep. Some mornings he would forget his medicine and fall asleep in class, which resulted in him waking up in the nurse's office. Of course, he was never punished, as the doctors had spoken to the school many times- explaining that his disease was legitimate, out of his control and genetic. Most of the times, although she wasn't supposed to, the nurse would let him sleep instead of waking him up and giving him his medication.
He did like the nurse, but Blue valued his education, and hated sleeping through classes. Hell, he was happy with an education at all, with his mother being as poor as she was. Meanwhile, his dad was somewhere off rich. Blue was quite cynical about such a topic, and as he thought about it, he paid less and less attention to the show and began to space off. As per usual. -
IM HERe
Liam nodded his head once again, turning his head to smile at Blue as he had done so many times already. He leaned back against the bed, staring at the screen. It actually wasn't as dreadful a program as he was anticipating, and he even found himself somewhat engrossed in the program. When things started to progress further, however, he could feel himself beginning to drift off, which was something absolutely would feel terrible for doing. He opened his eyes wide, fighting relentlessly to keep them open, but no matter how powerfully he attempted to do so, they were drooping. He made somewhat of a hissimg noise almost silently, as this sound did not require the use of his vocal cords, as he had come to find out when he was around ten years old. The noises he could muster were usually very weak and did not offer much to any sort of understanding of what he wanted.
It was always a milestone when he found he could make noises or sound effects. Things such as clicking his tongue, little spritz of air. They weren't anything major, but they aided in communicating with others. It reminded him of his Uncle. The man had always worked to discover new ways to communicate with the younger male, whether it meant testing Liam on what he could do or even dividing plans by himself. Observations and examinations usually helped him with the teenager. He could recall the way the man would jump and hoot and holler when he proved his hypotheses and theories. As he thought about this, he eyelids climbed down his eyes, causing for him to doze off and into a light rest. -
I FINALLY GOT THE ENERGY TO RESPOND YAY
Blue huffed a little, finding Liam was asleep. Normally he would pour, hating to be alone during this time. But sooner than later he found himself sleeping as well, dozing into a black and white nightmare that had vitally terrified him. And before the climax hit, Blue woke with a jolt to the sounds of knocking at the door and the phone ringing. It was the nurse, he deduced.
Blue stood groggily and stumbled over to the door. He fumbled around with the latch, unlatching it and then working to turn on the lock. Soon enough, he was able to twist the door handle open and let the nurse in. He soon found that this was a nurse he didn't know at all, oddly enough. She was young, few of the nurses were. Her ginger colored hair was tied securely into a bun and she had a small frown on her face that had no intention of leaving. He crossed his arms, backing up to lit her in. "I have your medication." She informed him, setting it on the counter and hunting in the kitchen for a glass of water. She was very direct, Blue found and that concerned him. Frowning, he sat at the table as she set a glass in front of him and instructed him to drink. He considered making a remark along the lines of, 'No I thought I'd just leave the pills and water here, reaaallly?' But decided against it and bit his tongue. He swallowed the pills. "Anything else?" He asked.
"Actually, yes." The grumpy young nurse said, crossing her arms and rolling her neck. "I have a few shots for you. Medication, if you will."
"For- for what?" His eyes widened in shock. -
AYOOOOO
Upon hearing the explosion of a cacophony erupt in the room due to the knocking and ringing, Liam was conscious and awake. He decided not to open his eyes, however, and rather listened to the conversation progress. It was somewhat difficult to hear, but he was completely focused on the words, so he was capable of discerning most of them. He grew slightly worried upon taking into account the fact that Blue needed shots of medicine. The only time he could possibly recall his Uncle needing shots was when they were sedatives. And Liam was positive Blue didn't need that kind of medicine to feel okay, especially due to the fact that he was already taking pills. He bit down on his lips, his eyes fluttering open completely. He slowly began to push himself up.
His hair was a silly mess of his tangles, his eyes soft with his groggy state of wakefulness. He peered at the two individuals, tilting his head at what they were doing. He realized that he was a bit weak, and so he let his body fall back against the plush mattress. His eyebrows were furrowed as he examined the nurse and her actions. The teenager decided that once things looked suspicious, he would make a move. Technically, they already were odd and were making his stomach tighten in all of the worst ways possible. His eyes were slowly beginning to turn stormy and angered, trying to determine what he woman was up to. -

Sorry I needed some time to myself ;-;
The nurse huffed, crossing her arms. "We're just trying to cover all of our bases, Blue. If this medication works-"
"Yes, but what is it?" Blue pushed, getting a little heated. He wasn't sure why, either. Normally he would have subjected himself to the nurse, not argued, just take the shots and hope to feel better. But this, this was different for the boy. Why would they add shots when he was already on medication?
"The people at the rehab center that you're going to want you to take these. If they work, and you react the way that we believe you will, we have a new diagnosis on your depression. But we need to cover all of our bases to see what's causing it- we have two ideas so far."
"Which are?" The boy grit his teeth in annoyance.
"Well, the first is substance abuse, we-"
"You think I'm a drug addict?! What the hell?"
"We need to do a tox screen and check your room for any potential substances. The next is we need to examine you to see if you have lupus, HIV, AIDS or hypothyroidism. Just in case. You were never scanned for these were you?"
"N-no, I don't believe so." He reached out his arm for the shot, finally submitting himself to the nurse, who was growing crabbier by the minute.
After he was given all of the shots, she left. "I feel worse after that.." He grumbled to himself, going back to sit by Liam. "Sorry.. I'm so sorry.." All of the emotions Blue had been trying to ignore came crashing down like a waterfall. For a minute he was silent, staring off and saying nothing. But soon, he began to silently cry, unable to control himself . -

hi friend I am now here
I was incredibly caught up in other things and also went on vacation but I'm here now
Liam examined the boy for a few small moments. The amount of pure sadness Blue had bottled inside of himself was astronomical in the teenager's eyes. What the nurse had explained sounded much different in his opinion, him perceiving the dialogue as hope. If the doctors were capable of discovering the source of the other boy's depression, they would find the correct medication and treatment plan to accommodate Blue's condition. Why the other boy was crying perplexed him more than anything else. Despite that fact, he knew that he had to do something to help. After giving himself a thorough eye rubbing, he scooted closer to Blue, slinking his head around Blue's body parts so that it rested on his lap. One of his arms extended to gently massage the side of Blue's neck. He hoped that this simple action would prove helpful in placating the upset.
He had witnessed his aunt perform the same action to his uncle. Many times, in the middle of an episode, his uncle would be caught in a state of self a deprecation, caught in a paradox of self-directed insults and methods of harm. His aunt, patient and loving, would take to the same position as Liam when all other means of solution were exhausted. She would stare into his eyes, allow him to find himself again. Once he was brought back from the dangerous place he had been hooked in, everything was okay. It was as thought not a thing in the whole, wide, big blue world could bother his uncle again. That was never the case, of course, but for a split second, everything was perfect.
Liam knew that he had to take on the same responsible and caring personality as his beloved aunt if he wanted his new favorite person to feel even a tiny bit okay. He wasn't blind to the effects the crashing news and events were havingon his friend. He sighed, ccontinuing to massage the boy's neck and keeping a watchful eye for anything that may indicate he would be calming down. -
