Ooh yay I was missed ^.^
The boy looked back to Liam, his dark blue eyes blinking a few times. He loved him. He truly did. Now, there was no doubt in Blue's mind. He needed Liam. The mute boy hadn't uttered a word to him- and yet Blue had fallen for him so easily. It wasn't forced or anything, as most relationships seemed to be. This was real, true, honest. That made his own departure hurt even more.
It's only two months, right? Eight weeks.. Sixty days or so... Gah, that feels like forever. I can't spend what feels like eternity without him. I'll go insane- they'll try to fix me, but I'll be tearing at my clothes and hair in frustration. My sixth time there will be the worst. And hopefully the last. Blue forced himself to promise this would be the last visit to a mental hospital. He hoped Liam could visit or at least send a letter or two. That would make it a lot easier- it would be just like a long distance relationship. 'It should be illegal for them to hold me captive for that long..' The boy thought, in spite.
He viewed it as a type of a prison sentence- and he was having some issues adjusting and adapting to the idea that he would be there for the next two months. Five days, five days only. It wasn't enough time- the time was already slipping out of his hands. -
why of course x)
Liam had to write one last statement, It looks like I have to get my stuff together. If I come tomorrow and the four days after that, you promise you'll be here? And I can be there when you leave? He set the writing utensil and the paper down in front of Blue, peering at him with wide, hopeful eyes. His hands were clasped over his chest as he did so, completely hoping that the other boy would give him the answer he desired. He decided not to move until he received a response. He bit down on his lip as he waited.
As much as he did not want to leave, a sense of relief was beginning to wash over him. He knew he wouldn't have to hold back his emotions once he was home. He would be capable of crying, letting everything he'd tucked away escape. It would be liberating, it a sense, and he was proud of himself for looking at the upcoming event in such a better light. To do that meant he was getting better in coping. Hopefully, he would be able in holding things up like that.
He glanced at the clock once more. 7 minutes. He need to hurry, say his goodbyes, let him know he cared. But then he would have to hurry to catch up to his father, and with Paxton, that task would be made more difficult. -
Yay ^.^ sorry late response was tired earlier
The boy read the statement that was scribbled onto the paper. He didn't even have to think about the answer. "Of course." He nodded. Melancholy. That was the perfect word for this. It was a bitter, heavy feeling. He could hardly breathe- or maybe that was the fact he was choking down tears. He didn't want to cry in front of the boy he loved and had just met.
He didn't want him to leave, but also did at the same time. He needed time to dwell over his fate, he wanted a few hours of complete silence and pure buzzing thought. It would be a sad time, but Blue always preferred to be lonely in these situations. Others made him feel worse. They reminded him that he had let them down, he was leaving them behind- and had tried to, permanently. It was a depressing, selfish feeling. He wasn't built to deal with it.
No, not at all. -
don't sweat it
I'm usually stalking B)
Liam nodded in a depressed manner, reaching down for his shoes and sliding them back on. He swallowed back the saliva that rested in the middle of his throat. The boy folded his arms again, bobbing his head towards the other and pointing to the door with a single finger, indicating that it was his time to exit. The exit, the dreaded was finally upon them. He wanted to allow any waterworks to flow, to join in an embrace once again, make a final connection before he left. He knew he wouldn't work enough courage to do that, however.
He stood, Paxton immediately jumping down to join him. The canine shook his tail, rubbing against the side of Liam's leg and wagging his tail repeatedly. He knew they would be going once they left the hospital room. Liam turned to Blue, assuming he would stand and walk him out. It seemed right. He wouldn't force the other male into doing it if he didn't stand or anything, however. There, he regretted having the inability to produce any speech. He would have a way with words, he'd be witty and quick, he knew it. Unfortunately, he'd never be able to put the words to a sound and let the whole world hear it. His shoulders drooped very slightly at the thought. -
I see cx
Blue couldn't sense the tension in the air. He was very good with reading emotions in others. It was funny, he could never even distinguish his own. Blue closed his eyes for a moment, sighing to himself quietly as he glanced down to the much shorter boy. He wanted to leave an imprint of Liam's face in his mind for as long as he could. He felt he would forget the little things he loved the most if he didn't. Blue didn't want to forget the way the mute boy's pupils dilated when he was happy, or the way he blushed when he was flattered. Blue couldn't forget these things. He wouldn't. He refused. Blue wanted to memorize the boy's animation as much as possible.
He knew, though, that this was merely the ending of a chapter, not the book. This would be another thing to overcome for the classic hero and true love archetypes they were. He almost scoffed a little at the idea. This wasn't a fairy tale. It was life. It wasn't fair- good people didn't get rewarded . And more importantly, and the fact that hurt the most, he was no hero. No, no.
Blue didn't see himself as that at all. Instead, he was a villain. These thoughts were destructive and useless, he knew, but he couldn't see anything else when he looked into the boy's eyes and saw his own reflection. He wrapped his arms around Liam's neck, mumbling a few words about him not wanting to go in five days. -
Weeell I can't stalk at school silly xD
Liam stared at him when he did so, his eyes widening with curiousness. It was easier to see the boy's face and absorb his facial features. He wanted to be able to recall every curve or slight imperfection, to have the most accurate mental image throughout the time in which he would be incapable of seeing him. His arms were still by his side, and he was hesitant as to whether or not he should wrap his arms around him or lean against him. He let out a tiny breath, keep his eyes contacted with the other boy's.
Paxton sat by the door, watching the two. Liam didn't exactly care about the dog at that moment. If he focused enough, he could hear the clock ticking...tick tock...tick tock. His surroundings slowed for a second as he listened to the perpetual movement inside of the time piece. He allowed him to remember that two months was nothing but a period of simple, simple time. He would see Blue once again, even if it would be after the other male was in rehabilitation. Liam would visit, he would definitely visit. There was always a train or a bus.
The corners of his lips pulled up gently at this thought. He brought his hand to the boy's side and rubbed it in a comforting manner to console him. -
Well yeah
Blue pulled gently away from Liam. He fell away from the boy- not literally, of course. He smiled a little, "It's time for you to go." He told Liam in a low tone. He frowned a little, sliding his hands into his pockets. "I think I'll walk you out." Blue told him. He wanted to do this for a multitude of reasons. The despair of leaving Liam was really starting to hit him. It was also mixed with the lack of antidepressants in his system- they had pumped his stomach earlier.
He hated the feeling of his emotions being bare, free to go either way. The nurses didn't realize he couldn't live this way. The pills were both the poison and the antidote. And no one had an idea how to fix it. Blue himself didn't even have a clue.
This idea made him frown even more. He would be stuck in the hospital for the next five days- for most of them, anyways, and be unable to control his emotions for any of it. Indeed, Liam would see the true Blue. -
I hope youre on later at like 11:00 that's when I'll be able to reply sorry
-
here I am! Home sooner than expected
Liam let his head nod in agreement. Promptly after performing this action, he reached for his canine and scooped him lovingly from the ground, holding him close like he would lose Paxton as well. He turned, his eyes pulling towards the door as he feet led him to it. He did not walk out as Blue had stated he wished to walk him out. Liam adored this, as small of a thing it may have been. It was gentleman like and made the sixteen year old see the other in a polite, caring light.
Paxton rested his head on Liam's shoulder, exhausted from the eventful day. This matched his owner's emotion. When Liam was home, he wasn't sure how capable he would be of eating or doing the things he typically did when he was home on a normal day. Too many things had taken place in such a short period of time. It was absolutely mindboggling and perplexing. He would have to sort through it, like he always did.
He'd come to realize the vicissitudes life truly offered to people. There was no way to avoid them, and rather, they had to be dealt with in a timely fashion. -
I'm literally watching AHS season one the sixth time and dying laughing
Blue walked through the door after Liam, saying nothing. He was just rather glad to be out of the hospital room. It had gotten pretty claustrophobic in the past hours, and he had grown sick of counting the tiles on the ceiling. There were fifty in his section alone. He had multiplied and counted three times over. This is what he had busied himself with when Liam and Rose were absent. He had only the nurses to keep him company, and they only came when they thought he was dying. Or to keep him from dying when he was dehydrated.
It was quite sick, really. They only cared if a life or two was at stake. Otherwise, they'd fiddle around like there was no one there. But he was. He had a family, but they weren't there. All he had was the obese guy next door who had extreme sunburn, and the woman on the other side thinking her privates smelled funky.
It was a joy to be alone in the hospital. -
Jesus xD six times dang
Once they were out in the hall, Liam realized he had only three minutes to join his father before his time was gone. It was his only chance. First, he looked Blue in the eyes. He remained like that for a couple of seconds, and then mouthed thank you for the ninetieth time. From there, he pulled himself up to his tippy toes, and leaned forward until he was capable of planting a tiny, rushed peck to the other boy's cheek. He gave a simple nod, turning on his heel and slowly starting to walk away.
He wanted to turn around.
He wanted to fly against the other like in all the sappy, over played romance movies. It would be impulsive, and stupid, even. He swallowed. He was thankful he was strolling rather than his fast paced walk, that would allow him to think if he should or shouldn't do what his brain was pestering him to do. His nose twitched furiously and Paxton licked at his cheek, still confusing excitement and wonder for upset and sorrow. It was a learning curve, you could say. -
Okay so it's probably at four or five not six but I was close
Blue smiled and blushed as he was kissed on the cheek. He was faced with the strong, worry some temptation to return the favor. Blue felt so..right when he was with Liam. There was not a thing he was afraid of- except everything. Butterflies were multiplying at rapid paces in his stomach, he could hardly keep up. It was dizzying and surreal and felt like an acid trip.
And he knew what those felt like. He knew every drug pretty well, he was familiar with them. He knew what they did to himself and the risks of them. He had hallucinated many times from such things, and they had left him with some brain damage that he refused to explain.
It was a pity, really. One looking at Blue would see a bright and talented boy throwing his life away due to genetics out of his control. The dice were not in his favorite. Every time he got snake eyes. And just when he got out of jail, he was back in. He was losing money every turn, and his partner had every property on the board.
It would be better to just stay in jail, really. -
Still a lot xD
Liam entered the main lobby with ten seconds to spare. His father spotted him from the place in which he stood, playing with the collar of his button down. The man waved to Liam and Paxton, gesturing for the boy to hurry. When the teenager stood with him, the man threw his arm around his son, leading him out of the doorway. As much as he enjoyed aiding his son in supporting a friend, he was rather worn and ready for a comforting home made meal. He clicked the unlock button, listening for the beep of his vehicle. The two wandered for a moment before they came two it.
They entered the car, each on their respective sides. Liam was finally being bombarded by every. single. emotion. that had been screaming for attention. Anger, frustration, sorrow, grief, everything at once. The five stages had melded into one and had thrown itself at the teenager. His stomach twisted as his father started the vehicle, backing out of the parking space and driving out of the parking lot's main exit.
Liam's heart was racing, his breath hitching more than once. He furrowed his eyebrows, pulling in breath after breath to try and contain himself and refrain from having an outburst. As the ride progressed, however, the tears had reached their limit and were beginning to spurt until they streamed in a constant flow. The only indication he was sad were those tears, which weren't noticed until they were halfway to their destination. His father gasped, pulling into the nearest parking lot of a local food market.
He reached over, rubbing his son's back in a tender move. "What's wrong, Liam? Don't cry, please, bud." His face was pulled into one of extreme upset and worry. Liam rose his hands to attempt to sign, but they dropped out of weakness. Instead, he motioned for his father to continue driving. The elder's shoulders drooped but he listened to his son's demand. The boy curled in the seat, holding Paxton close.
It was another ten minutes before the van was in the driveway of their home. Liam's face was tearstained but hardly any more waterworks were escaping. -
Yeah it is
Blue smiled a little as his friend left him, trying to hide his true emotion. Walking back to his room, he decided to summon the doctor for his MRI results. The female doctor was quickly back, and held her hands clasped in front of her. She pursed her lips. "Well, Blue, we do see some brain damage. But it was also there on your last MRI." She told him.
"Yes, yes. I'm aware." Blue wanted to be alone. He wanted this over with.
"But I was also made aware that there is no explanation for that in your file," She said, "Why?" Blue was taken aback by this, and immediately went to the defense zone. He shrugged, "Why would I know? They never made a deal about it..?" Thankfully, his last visit had been at a different hospital. It had burned down, with its records a few months ago. A tragedy, an unfortunate one. But it worked in his favor.
The conversation went no where in the ten minutes she was there. Which he was grateful for. Alone now, he glanced at the fifty tiles. They looked so cheap up on the ceiling. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Why would a hospital be cheap? He sighed, these were useless thoughts. He was on the brink of what he viewed as extinction, and this is what he was thinking about? -
x( I fell asleep I sowwie
The two entered the household. It was a two story house, painted light blue with white window outlines and shutters. The front door was a dark brown mahogany. On the inside was a very short hall before the visitor would be presented by two different turns, one into the living room and one into the kitchen. The kitchen was designed in a modern fashion hardwood floors and medium high ceilings. Cabinets that matched the same color of the floor lined the space above the marble counter. The stove, microwave, and toaster all matched in an off white color. Painted Mason jars decorated the space next to the sink, holding kitchen utensils such ladels and spatulas.
Liam let Paxton to the ground and the pudgy pup hurried off and into the dining room where his food bowl and water were located. The two males crossed into the space, where a high table and chairs stood. The table had already been set and all of their plates were there, chicken patties and steak fries. His mother sat at her usual spot, fiddling with her phone. Her light blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders, her glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose. Liam thought she looked far better with her hair down, more mother like. For work, her hair was pulled into a tight bun, and it made her look like a disciplinarian who knew nothing of how to have fun.
The two took their seat as well. Liam signed off a thank you as his father said it. They all laughed a bit, going at their chicken patties and fries. Paxton sat in the middle of all of their feet, waiting for them to drop food. As they ate, the teen signed all about his day and the friends and teachers he became familiar with. Blue was his main focus. His parents watched intently, making caring comments every now and again.
