chayeah brah
The entire conversation was very satisfying for Liam as it provided insight into the mind of Blue and what he could do to help, even if he wasn't as powerful a force as most people. He absolutely thrived off of being able to make some kind of a difference in somebody else life. It was satisfying, becoming completely aware that he could work to put a smile on Blue's face or take the necessary steps to aid him in calming down when he was feeling melancholy.
He squeezed Blue's hand as he listened, nodding in complete agreement with the statement. He entirely understood the meaning behind the other boy's words. His Uncle Peter had been similar, usually sent into a much better state of mind when either his aunt or he spent time with him. Having the two of them listen to him ramble about his hallucinations were one thing that had always provided Peter with an outlet. Liam's eyes lit up as it could work in the same way with Blue's condition.
He offered a quick hug, scribbling onto the notepad, I'll be there whenever you need me to be. Also, if you want, you can always talk about what you're feeling at any given moment. I'll listen. He beamed upon lifting the pen, proud of himself for having the idea.
Human contact was easy to provide as it was something Liam loved. He was very fond of hugs, even if he had really only received them from his family over the course of his lifetime. He found them to be consolidating and secure, something that he felt every human being should be. Security and reassurance were two common things that were emphasized in the home he lived in, his parents usually taking the time to remind him he was normal even if he had the slight disability. It did wonders for his self-esteem and daily mood. Perhaps if he utilized the same techniques on Blue, he would provide even more assistance. -

Anyways wyd girlie
Blue nodded at what the boy had written. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, Liam." He gave the other boy a warm smile that was full of gratitude.
He was infinitely grateful that the universe had put Liam and he together. They met by chance. And now look where they were. This made the boy happier and bubblier than anything before. He mulled over this for a while, smiling to himself as he continued to rub his thumb on Liam's palm. On another impulse, he used his free hand to grab Liam's chin and kiss his cheek. This caused Liam to turn pink much like he had earlier, but he found some remnants of confidence within himself.
Blue had so many more things he wanted to know about the boy. It was sure that kismet lead them together. But for what purpose? He decided to ask a question related to this, indeed. "Do you believe in fate or destiny? Do you believe in the idea that some things are just made to be and are inescapable?" Blue tilted his head, curious as to what Liam's thoughts on the matter would be. It was quite an interesting thought, after all. That the universe had a distinct plan for you that you couldn't escape. -
preparing for my two friends to come over
it was very sudden so i have to tidy up xD'
how about you
The feeling of being sunburned returned to haunt him upon receiving the kiss to the cheek. It caused him to squeeze Blue's hand in both approval and sheepishness. He shyly looked down at the notepad, finding the green lines to be very investing at that particular spot in time. His eyes were twinkling with joyous wonder, his heart pounding in anticipation at anything that would follow the loving gesture. It was very naive, he supposed, how flustered he was acting. He was sure Blue wouldn't mind, so he permitted his persistent blush to paint his face without much trouble. It was fascinating, the effect that the other boy had on him.
The new question was very tricky to answer as, yes, he believed in the phenomenon. It was only a matter of whether or not he deemed them inescapable. In a sense, they were, but only for so long. He believed that they would catch up to an individual in a matter of time, whether it be a soulmate that was once avoided or a stroke of luck that prevented someone from dying. It all would find the person sooner or later, and Liam found that to be extremely overwhelming.
I believe in them. I think that they are able to be avoided for a little while, but eventually, the universe catches up to you and you're forced to deal with whatever crazy plan it had in store for you. He shrugged, trying to determine if there was anything for addition, but he found himself at a standstill. What about you? -
Listening to some random indie music lmao
Blue nodded at the boy's ideas about fate and destiny. He was unsure of how he felt about the subject, himself. "Yeah, I believe in fate and destiny. As for whether it's inescapable, I think that depends on the matter. Sure you can escape getting an F on your project. But you can't escape meeting someone who will mean a lot to your life and you can't escape the punishment for any deeds you have done. Karma, ya know?"
He found himself quite content with his own ideas. In fact, he was quite proud he was able to put it together so well and so quickly. It made sense, he supposed. He smiled warmly once more, some curly blond hair falling into his eyes. He did nothing about it, his midnight colored eyes staring through the hair that was like the sun shining through the clouds. His eyes were the skies and his hair the heavens, he supposed.
Blue decided to ask a bit more basic question this time. One that was easier to answer and took less thought. "I feel like I've already asked you this, but what would you like to be when you're older and all graduated? Job wise, I mean." -

Liam could find his mind agreeing with the other individual, his head nodding as he spoke. He was discovering his actions to be inherently repetitive, and he felt a bit downcast due to this. He secretly hoped that Blue had not noticed. Appearing boring or redundant was something he had been striving to avoid. He wanted to appear as fascinating to Blue as vice-versa, and he found that his speech barrier was making it increasingly onerous. He nearly apologized for his lack of speech, but abstained from this as he reminded himself that the other was anything but judgmental.
The smaller male found himself beginning to become a bit entranced by the other, observing the hair that had fallen into his eyes. It was an attractive look on the other male. He wished he could explain to Blue how lovely he looked in that moment. But he only sighed, focusing on the question instead. His hand had become a bit relaxed, somewhat lazily writing his answer along the paper.
Something that doesn't involve communication. I thought about it a few times, and if I could talk, I would really want to be a clinical psychologist or therapist. But probably an author or journalist. Those would be ideal for me. He looked to Blue for his answer, waiting patiently. -
i love it they are very very adorable
-
They are!!
Blue nodded at Liam's response. "I think you would be excellent at being a journalist or author. You seem to be very creative and imaginative. As for me, I've got a few things I'd like to do. Maybe I'd want to be an animator or coder for video games. However, I'd also really like to do something involving movies. I sort of want to go to film school when I'm older. I love photography and movies."
Blue had only been in one play, and he wasn't a minor part but he wasn't major either. Despite being pretty introverted, Blue had the ability to channel some extroversion from within himself. He also thought he'd enjoy directing and doing costumes and lights. He'd never directed, but he enjoyed doing makeup, costumes, lights, props and all of the other behind the scenes type things. He had also taken a photography and film class sophomore year, which he did well in and enjoyed.
He thought that he may want to invest in a nice camera soon. That way, he'd be able to take pictures and videos of Liam. Liam was fascinating and greatly attractive to Blue. He would love to capture some of these moments with a high definition camera. The thought of that exhilarated Blue.
Blue found himself soon being bored in the room. He really hoped he could leave soon. Itching his nose, he quietly proposed that they snuck out of the room and went outside. He phrased it simply, like this, "Wanna sneak out? We can walk outside. Done it before." He talked quietly, not paying any mind to the rules of the English language and its grammar. -
makes me a proud mama jama
liam is my child grrr
Liam could feel himself blushing at the compliment. He had always been afraid of what the world would present him with, especially considering that the amount of careers available to him were limited. Hearing somebody have the confidence in him to succeed (other than his parents, of course) was uplifting. His stomach went warm and fuzzy, much he had eaten a refreshing, home cooked meal.
The career paths Blue outlined weren't much of a surprise. He could recall Blue mentioning his interest in technology, and the options that the other boy seemed to want were fitting. It was relieving to hear the navy blue-eyed male speak of his future as it proved he intended to keep living for the time being.
Liam perked up at his suggestion, his eyebrows raising. He nodded rapidly, setting the pen and notepad aside. He scrambled out of the bed, tripping a little when he hopped off. His face went red for a moment, but the color easily subsided. He pulled on his shoes, putting his hands on his hips sassily, gesturing to the door like a young Vanna White. His eyebrows wiggled, causing another breathy laugh to come from him.
