Andie giggled quietly at the boy's shy behavior. It was so opposite of his, which is what made it golden. He grinned a little. "Yeah, sure. I'll go order." He went up to the bartender, who was a man a few years older than him. In fact, Andie knew his age. This man was exactly twenty one, he was an artist, and loved to go dancing . He identified as queer. Andie knew the locals quite well, as he was always out and doing something. Whether it be advertising for his business, surfing, or just walking around for the hell of it, Andie was out. This way, he kept his golden skin tone and got to learn a lot of things about the area and the people in it.
Once he was done ordering for himself and the other man, he thanked the bartender and sat back down. "He said ten to twenty minutes, if that's okay with you?" Andie stated this like a question, glancing at Matty with upraised brows. He swallowed quietly, somehow still quite nervous when he should have been having fun. He did NOT want to screw up again. -
-
Matty nodded and smiled, he watched Andie as he got up and went over to the bar but looked back at the empty booth in front of him. He started to drum his fingers against the table and zoned out. When Andie sat back down in front of him he jumped slightly and put his hands back in his lap. He nodded then smiled slightly, "Yeah that's fine, hon." He said.
He licked his lip slowly and bit his bottom lip carefully. He jumped as the door was slammed open and a few people stumbled in and over to the bar, Matty glanced over at them as they asked the bartender. He stiffened and looked back at Andie. -
Andie smirked a little at the people whom had just entered. Drunks, he best supposed. He shrugged, his smirk not fading, however. Andie was attempting not to worry about anything tonight, he was forcing himself to. It was sapping up his self control. Regardless, the tan boy took a few deep breaths and grabbed Matty's hand from underneath the table. It was quite reassuring to Andie, to have Matthew so close to him.
With the other hand, he tapped his fingers on the table. He was preoccupying his mind with thoughts and memories of his boyfriend and he. The first time they met- on the beach through a mutual friend whom had invited them both. It was a hell of a day. Nice and warm, perfect waves. Andie was a little wasted by the time the day ended, but that was no matter. He could recall the day perfectly, however. -
Matty jumped slightly as his hand was grabbed from under the table. He smiled at him, he could tell Andie was thinking about something he just couldn't tell what, he opened his mouth to say something but intrupted himself with a yelp and pulled his hand away from Andie's as his head was pulled back by the ponytail and brought to rest on the back of the booth, "Oh I was right it's Matty!" The boy with white and green hair standing above him said, he was giggly and obviously drunk, one of the three that stumbled in loudly. He leaned down and kissed Matty on the forehead causing Matty to flinch and close one eye as the man stood back up properly Matty sat up properly and started dusting the glitter off of his clothes and face frantically, he hated getting glitter on him it was like a fricken demon, it stayed around forever.
"Matty!" One of them shreaked like a banshee, he jumped looking over to see Candi almost face plant into the back of the booth. She barley caught it with her hands and managed to stand, she was worse than the others on the drunk scale. Her pale pink hair was like usual all over on the one side and the side of her head shaved, Matty didn't like the new style but Candi did and it suited her very well along with her snake bites. She smiled at him her grey eyes looking very odd, she hugged Matty or tried at least, "Happy birthday Hun," she said her accent taking over as it usually did when she was drunk, she kissed his cheek softly, "Was it fun?!" She asked excitedly and crossed her arms on the back of the booth.
"Sure." Matty said chuckling.
"Oh my god!" Candi screamed pointing at Andie, "Hes real!" She said louder making Matty blush
"Of course he is you idiot!"
"J.J.!" Candi yelled whining, "You promised you wouldn't call me an idiot anymore!" She said
"Not true! I said I'd stop calling you an idiot when you got mad at the guy calling you a gypsy whore." J.J. said defending himself,
"That's tru-"
"Matty! You're on his side?!" She said
"We-"
"What's going on?" The last one of the drunk trio asked floppin between both J.J. and Candi arms draped over them, the male had black hair and bright green tips, he also had shark bites and was quite built from being forced to play football and lacrosse., "Hey Matty happy birthday!" He flashed Matty a smile. Matty had to hold in his frustration, he didn't like the idea of Andie meeting his friends, they were loud and overly excited all the time and overly flamboyant and worse when they're drunk.
"Candi, J.J. and Duke meet Andie... Andie... J.J., Duke and Candi." He said smiling mainly directed at Andie because he didn't mind if Andie saw how uncomfortable he was with this. -
-
Andie was unsure how to feel about the current situation. The idividuals were obviously quite drunk, but he didn't want to say anything. He would have been as drunk if he wasn't with Matty. Andie had always had issues with alcohol. He grew addicted to it by age fifteen, and that addiction just hadn't wore off. His breath constantly smelled of faint Swedish vodka and French champagne. He had expensive tastes, that was known by anyone close to him. He had tried to give up the habit before. Many times. The cravings never stopped, so why not give in?
And it's not like he was an angry or depressed drug. He was emotional, passionate. So many times he and Matty had gotten drunk together and had a hell of a night in their own bed. All he knew after consuming so much alcohol was the warm feeling of love. Andie would be huggy and kissy and passionate. He would rub his hands down Matty's warm body, he would kiss the others neck and bite his lip. Oh, the thought of it made him feel a bit awkward in the situation.
Oh right, the current situation. "Hi." He said to his friends, his face a little pink. "Friends of Matty, huh?" He tilted his head a little. -
Matty slipped his hand under the table and grabbed Andie's hand, he looked between his friend and Andie. Matty looked at Candie as she looked to be suffering by trying to hold up Duke or well his arm and the little wait he had on her. She smiled brightly, "So you're Andie right?" She asked giggling, "I assumed but hey you know what they say about assuming." She ducked under Dukes arm and grabbed a chair from a different table and placed it at the head of the table and sat down. She ran a hand through her hair and then crossed her arms over the table and leaned into it.
Matty accidentally squeezed Andie's hand under the table, J.J. nodded and left Duke but not before he kissed Duke's cheek and came and sat beside Matty, "Yeah, we're his friends doing the usual weekend thing, trying to get to all the bars but make it hangover free to moms for church on Sunday." He said with a smile resting his arm on the back of the chair, "But we had to stop here for some coffee for little miss pink over here." He said chuckling,
"We did not!" She yelled shooting up from her seat but swaying a lot and sat down again almost missing the chair, "I was not drugged at the last place." She said pouting. Duke chucked and went over and kissed the top of her head before sitting on the seat beside Andie but obviously as far away as possible.
"You were, now honey get over it." He said
"You're so mean!" She yelled whining, "Stop it I'm fine! I'm not a baby!" She said. Matty looked at Andie and mouthed, 'Sorry'. He blushed very noticeably and looked back at the three idiots.
Candi and J.J. shared a look and evil grins spread across their faces, "Hey Andi~ do you want to know how we met Matty?" They asked at the same time, barley, but at the same time.
"It's an amazing story." J.J. said
"The best!" Candi said making Matty go bright red,
"Don't you dare!" Matty yelled squeezing Andie's hand, checking if he was still there. -
Andie didn't much like the way these people were acting. They were annoying and overly hammered. He forced himself not to judge, though. He knew many who got loud and obnoxious while drunk. He felt his boyfriend squeeze his hand a few times, and Andie looked back at him every time. Andie bit his lip a little, unsure of how to deal with the situation. He hadn't really even realize he had been asked a question until a few minutes after, when he realized everyone was staring at him.
He sighed a little, shrugging. He scratched the side of his head, saying, "I mean- oh hey, the food's ready." Andie used this as the perfect escape. He let go of his boyfriends hand, and moved around the people to go get the food he and Matty had ordered. A hell of a date this was, hey? Andie wasn't enjoying it much, but it would be way more fun when Matty and he got home. They would be together. Alone. Ah, the excitement. -
Matty gaped at Andie as he walked away but he was really happy he didn't want to hear the story, it was only a few days before they met back then but he barley remembered that night and the only reason he believed the story's were the videos he'd seen over time that always embarrassed him. He managed to close his mouth and he saw J.J. staring at him, J.J. looked over making sure Duke and Candi were in their conversation, "What's wrong?" He asked him.
"Nothing." He said lamely he was hoping it would work,
"You're lying." He said, I knew it he thought to himself. The best lies hold truth his father's words rang though his head.
"My father... Sent me a letter... I'm to scared to read it. You think me declining all his phone calls would be enough... But nope apparently not." He said, nope of his friends knew about his dad the only knee he left. "But who cares really, I'll probably just rip it up and throw it out, it's what I did with the ones I got when I was younger." He said staring at Andie's empty seat.
"Coffee!!" Candi yelled almost face planting when she ran out of her chair, Duke followed putting the chair back where it belonged J.J. got up,
"You'll be fine?" He asked just making sure,
"I've got Andie, I'm okay." Matty said with a smile and watched Candi grab her coffee and put some money on the counter and the other two did the same thing and ran out stumbling. It was obvious their was something in the coffee from the money they put down. They didn't even wait for change, but then again that was probably the first and last thing Candi would pay for that night and J.J. and Duke were rolling in money so they didn't care. Matty chuckled watching them, "So odd." He mumbled to himself.
He thought about the lie he told J.J. it wasn't a bad one at least, he did see a letter from his father in the mail today but he knew for a fact he wasn't going to read it. He just hadn't gotten around to throwing it out yet he got... Side tracked. He shook his head, it wasn't important. -
Andie sat down with the food, giving his boyfriend his food. He glanced around the pub a few times before starting to eat. He couldn't think of much to say for a bit, so the tan boy bit his lip for a moment before talking. "Well.. That was interesting." Andie shrugged a bit. His friends were just as loud and rambunctious. There had been many parties he had thrown were the cops were called. Oh, the joys of being an adult.
He wouldn't want it any other way, though. Andie knew this was where he was meant to be. He did want to get around to college, though. He supposed he could do online classes in.. Something. Truthfully, he had no idea what he was doing with his life. Or what he wanted to do. This upset him often, but he would never admit it. Andie felt like a seventh grader, not having an idea or care on the track his life was going. Except he wasn't a seventh grader, he was nineteen. And he still had no clue. He wanted to change that. He did. -
Matty smiled brightly as the food was placed down in front of him, he happily picked up a fry and ate it. He watched Andie look around, "Yeah... I'm sorry." He said blushing, "I didn't think they'd come here." He said not directly at Andie and down at his food. He ate a few more frys before looking up at Andie, "Can you come sit here with me?" He asked blushing slightly more.He nibbled on his bottom lip for a second at ate more of the frys.
(Sorry, I can't think of anything else to type...) -
It's okay)
Andie nodded a little when his boyfriend asked if he could sit next to him. He slid out of the booth and sat on Matty's side. Pulling a hand through his own dark hair, he glanced down at Matty's food and then his own. He shrugged a little, commencing to eat. He wasn't thinking much of the situation, he just knew that the booth had very little room and that he was pressed up to his boyfriend. This was something he didn't mind at all. In fact, he quite enjoyed it. It made them feel closer. Which was something they hadn't been in a long time. He hoped things could work out between him and the other male. It hadn't gone so well last time, and that was primarily his fault. Biting his lip, he glanced over to Matty. On an impulse, he kissed his cheek, putting an arm around him. He didn't say anything, though. He was afraid to do so- what if he said something wrong? -
Matty played with the pieces on hair that weren't in his ponytail. He didn't know why he asked Andie to sit with him on this side, it probably looked odd for us both to be on one side he just wanted Andie there with him. Matty jumped slightly when his cheek was kissed, he blushed slightly still staring down at his food. He didn't know what to say or if anything was really in order, so he just stayed silent. He smiled happily picking up the burger and bit into it just as equally happy, he moaned softly savouring the taste. Once he swallowed he bit in to the burger again happily. He ate the burger up quite quickly since the only other thing he'd eaten today was a granola bar and that was early in the morning. He took a drink of his milkshake as his eyes clouded over as he thought. When he was done with a drink he pulled back and was going to lean back into Andie but an idea popped into his head and before he could think about it he was moving. His lips softly met Andie's neck, he kissed his neck not putting to much force or anything in it, he sucked on his neck softly. He placed his hand on Andie's leg.
-
Andie both smiled and jumped once he felt his boy friend's soft lips on his neck. He bit his own lips, gently, sort of shocked at the gesture. He had been in the middle of eating when Matty had done this, but forced himself to immediately swallow. When he felt his hand on his leg, he put his own hand over Matty's, as if to keep it there. Andie didn't want to make to much noise or be too distracting- they were still in the pub, after all. But it was sort of hard to resist. In fact, it was quite hard to resist. A year or so ago, Andie would have been moaning out immediately- his neck was always quite sensitive. It was one of his favorite body parts to get kissed- but very few people were aware. It was the center of intimacy, he thought, the center of trust. So many important veins and organs were located in the neck, and it was a gesture of trust, he felt. Perhaps he was a bit too poetic about it, a bit too dramatic. But this was all by mere accident, indeed.
