Arthemis purred at the voice of Riley. "How do you known Artemis's name?" Calanthe asked. She continued to pet the bunny.

"I've known you longer than you've known me" was the only explainion he gave.

Calanthe was confused but she acted like everything was OK. "So you know what my life is like?".

"From my point of view, yes, and only for the last year. There was someone before me" Riley said. He looked at the ground. "She's gone now"

"I'm so sorry!". Calanthe hugged Riley to comfort him. "CALANTHE! PRINCESS CALANTHE!".

Riley hugged back than stiffened when he heard someone calling the princess. He let go and cleared his throat.

"I'll be right back!" Calanthe said getting up and straightened her dress. She peeked her head outside and it was Sebastian. Calanthe servant.

Riley squated down and pet Artemis lightly. He waited for the Princess

Calanthe stepped outside and called Sebastian. "Yes Sebastian?", "Your mother is looking for you!". She sighed and nodded.

Freddy hopped into his lap and Riley looked at him as Freddy made paw gestures. "No.... No Freddy... because I'm on assignment" he rolled his eyes at the bunny. "Fine." he said and crossed his arms. Freddy gave a satisfied look and hopped out of his lap.

Calanthe walked back to her room and closed the door behind her. "My mother needs me. I have to go." Calanthe said. She grabbed her necklace and tiara and put them on.

"Alright. I was at the gathering anyway" he said as he stood. He smiled. "You look beautiful, princess" he said and left the room, going back to the gathering.

"Thanks" Calanthe said after he left. "He's so sweet" Calanthe said. She couldn't believe he called her beautiful, She felt the opposite of beautiful.

Riley stood off to the side and waited for the princess to come back down. He scanned the area as he walked a little

Calanthe walked out her room with Artemis by her side. "Ok Artemis, Let's go.". We walked fast to get downstairs.
