Riley's eyes widened. He put Freddy in his bag, which he left open of course, as he heard footsteps. He sighed and mentally apologized to the Queen as he hopped out to where the princess was. "Princess you're in danger, I know you don't know me but we have to go back the castle, Now." he said.

Calanthe jumped up in fear. "Who are you?" she asked as she backed away slowly. "There's no danger in Armathain.". She ran towards the path to get back to the palace.

Riley cursed lightly and ran after her "Princess please!" A whole group of men, dressed in purple and black jumped out of the trees, surrounding them. The tallest one stepped forward, his voice sounding edgy. "Hello there dear little princess. Still 15 are we? Oh how lucky we caught you the day before your birthday little one"

Calanthe stopped before the men. She backed away slowly. "Please, I'm just an innocent girl. You don't want a girl like me. I'm not worth your time." she begged them to move. She wanted to yell help but afraid that they might kill her.

The man smiled. "You don't know yet? You not an innocent girl, you're the princess. That makes you worth or time." he said and stepped towards her.
Riley watched this happen and climbed a tree. He spoke the the tree's and their branches moved, maving bridge for him. He got over top of the group and jumped down, landing in front of the princess as he drew his sword. He pointed it at the man. "Play time is over. You aren't to lay a finger on the princess. You and your men are going to leave. Or my friend, Buddy over there will have a large lunch." he said as a bear roared from the forest. Freddy waved at the princess from Riley's backpack. -
"Know what?" Calanthe asked. The boy jumped infront of me. A bunny's head pops out from the bag and waves at Calanthe. "I'm going crazy!" Calanthe says in her mind. Calanthe poke her head from the side of the boy as he points his sword to the men.
"Excuse me? These men cause some trouble, but there's no need to point swords!" Calanthe says. -
"Princess these men are dangerous" Riley said.
The other man chuckled. "I'm not scared of your furry friends." He flicked his wrist and flames started on the tree. The bear ran off as the man laughed. He then knocked the sword from Riley's hand and picked him up by the throat. -
As the bear ran off, Calanthe saw the man pick the boy up by the throat. "STOP IT!". Calanthe pushed the man away to try make him release the boy.

The man stumbled lightly giving Riley the advantage. The man dropped him and Riley gasped, he used air to push all the men away and they slid back, leaving a path. Riley grabbed to Princess' hand as he summed his sword back. "RUN" he said as he pulled her with him.

He grabbed Calanthe and they ran the path towards the castle. She wondered what was going on? "I can't ran no more! Can we stop?" Calanthe asked trying to stop the boy from running. She tried catching her breathe but it was making her feel light headed.

Riley stopped and turned around. "We can't stop, they're faster than us. They let go of they're human nature" He thought quickly as he head footsteps behind them. "I apologize for this in advance" he said and picked Calanthe up, wedding style. He floated in the air and sped down the path.

As the boy picked Calanthe, she was in shocked. "Am I dreaming?" Calanthe asked the boy. She looked behind to see the men running and trying to shoot arrows at us. She felt her heart drop when she saw how high she was from the ground.

"I wish you were Princess" he said as he dodged arrows. He looked down at her "Stop looking down, you know you're afraid of heights" he said. As they neared the palace, the men stopped following them and disappeared completely. He landed in her room and set her down.

"Who are you? How do you know my life?" Calanthe asked trying not to freak out on the boy. "Who were those men? What do they want with me? Mother is gonna freak out when she finds out!". She got up and started pacing around the room. She was so focused on the whole fights and flying, she forgot the apples. "The apple's! NO,NO,NO,NO,NO. We need to go back!".

"Calm down, Calm down" he closed his eyes and spoke to the trees again, and they let go of some apples. He then used the wind to bring them to her window and into a basket. "Here. I know you don't understand, and you have questions but I'll explain tomorrow. You're safe here, please stay in the palace until I see you again." He then disappear.
