Before Calanthe could say thank you, The boy disappeared. Arthemis, Calanthe baby lion, came into the room. "What is going on today Arthemis?" she asked Arthemis.
Calanthe got ready for the gathering and she brought the apples that was given to her. Calanthe dressed in a red dress with a beautiful heart necklace that she got when she was a child. -
Riley reported what happened to the Queen. "Okay. Thank you, your majesty." he said and hung up. He went back to watching the princess and rubbed his eyes slightly. He thught she look wonderful then shook the thought away. He had to stay focused

"Calanthe! Hurry, The gathering is starting soon." Mother yelled from below. Calanthe ran down the stairs again and placed the apples on the table. "You look so gorgeous hunny." Mother said. "Thank you. You look gorgeous yourself Mother.". She smiled. The horn sounded off in meaning of the gathering starting.

Riley sighed and snapped, changing into a tux and walking to the palace. He'd been ordered to attend, in case the Darkness tried anything at the gathering.

The gathering started and everyone gathered in. "Good day Princess Calanthe.". Everyone greeted Princess Calanthe and she thanked them for coming. She was still in shocked from what happened. They will be serving then talking about what will be happening for events and then a toast. That is too much for Calanthe to handle.

Calanthe greeted everyone who came in. They were so happy to see Calanthe. Mother tapped the sidof thcup with a fork to get everyone's attention. "As you all know, tomorrow is Princess Calanthe birthday. She is turning 16. She is becoming a beautiful young woman. It's gonna be hard letting her go." She says.

Riley watched. He couldn't help but agree with the Queen. He shook his head and stayed focused.

"Let's make a toast.". Everyone raised their glass and made a toast. "To Princess Calanthe.". They repeated after Mother.

Calanthe sighed and smiled. She sneaked off and went to her room. "To Princess Calanthe!" She mocked. She loved everyone but hated the attention.

Riley looked around and didn't see the Princess. He smiled lightly and knew where she'd be. He teleported to her bedroom door and knocked lightly.
