"I think I have to, now. Besides, I'm not scared of you anymore." Elaine moved over to his side and stood up on the tips of her toes, reaching her hand into his thick fur. Scratching behind his year, she said, "I think you're just a big puppy."
-
A low rumble came from his throat as his back foot started kicking lightly, but he pulled his head away once he noticed, grumbling. "Don't do that." He huffed and glanced at her. "You can tell no one, I mean no one about this."
-
"Do you really think anyone would believe me?" she asked, smirking at him. Even though he'd told her to stop, she continued to pet him, more out of habit than conscious decision. "How do you manage all of this fur? It's crazy."
-
He shrugged lightly and shivered as she kept petting him, ignoring him when he told her to stop. A rumble came from his throat again. "I don't go into this form a lot." He tilted his head and closed his eyes slightly.
-
(How big is he?)
"Well, thanks for finally being honest with me about... this." She leaned forward, hugging the large, black mass. It was weird to think that this creature was the same thing as the man from earlier. "So what was outside, then?" -
(Hm...larger than a lion.)
He stiffened and was glad for once that he wasn't human at the moment. He glanced around and sighed. "Creatures, that came out of the book when I did this." He grumbled. "Evil little b------s." His tail wagged slightly and he glared at it, trying to make it stop. -
"Huh? And they're really that unstoppable?" she asked. Elaine realized that some of his fur was sticking to her clothing, as it was still wet from playing in the snow earlier. "I'm gonna go change. I'll be right back."
Once she was in her bedroom, she grabbed the first thing she found in her backpack, which was the dress she'd been thinking of wearing. It could hardly be called a dress, since on anyone much taller it would probably be a shirt. Even though she was wearing it for herself and not for him, she knew he would see it and enjoy it just as much as she did. Did she want to give her host that sort of privilege? Remembering how much he would blush at even the smallest things, she decided that yes, she definitely did. She pulled on the dress and headed back out to where she'd left him. -
He sat patiently as she went off, not wanting to acknowledge her question from earlier, but when she came back he actually changed back into his human form, but in a different pair of clothes, which were a silk pair of pants and a shirt. He glanced up as she walked back in and soon a slight blush crept onto his cheeks. He coughed lightly and looked away.
-
(so clothes magically appear? convenient for him, but not for the rest of us)
It was working. Suddenly, her goal was to fluster him as much as possible. She just had to wait for the right moment. "So... what now? I'm getting a little hungry, would you like to have lunch?" -
(Hey if the man can make a deal with a demon, there has to be some perks out of it.)
He stood up quickly and nodded. "I-I could take you to the k-kitchen." He cursed at himself lightly for stuttering, but he soon tried to get back his composure, but he still had the blush on his cheeks. He took her hand and started walking to the kitchen, praying there was something to eat and get his mind off things. -
Good, he was flustered. Having this sort of power over him was pretty great. Once they reached the kitchen, she was a little unsure of what to do. Virtually everything in it was outdated, how did anyone make anything in here?
-
He let go of her hand as he started walking around the kitchen, trying to find something for them both to eat, also trying to find something vegetarian for her. As he kept looking, the blush on his cheeks had faded away slightly. In a few minutes he had made her a makshift salad and for him it was a sandwich, since literally it was the only thing he could make without burning it.
-
She watched him prepare lunch, glad that the expectations from the time during which he was... mortal, didn't still apply. Elaine sat at the tiny kitchen table as she waited. The dress wasn't really the best thing to sit in. She racked her brain, trying to think of questions to ask him. "So... what do you miss most about before you were... a giant black dog?"
-
He placed her food in front of her and stopped for a moment when she asked her question. "I don't know really..I don't remember much from before." He sat down across from her and slowly started eating the small sandwich he had prepared for himself.

Oh hey I still have our other soap about the alien.)
