Ava watched the human walk past, and sat on the couch after standing in the same place for a few minutes. She really wasn't sure why, but she felt bad again. She stared out through the doors that lead to the deck, and contemplated various things.

Ira was sitting at a desk in his room, looking through papers and reports, stopping to stare at a family photo. That grinning young, light brown-haired lady was gone for good. "You would've been a great teacher, Rayne..Mom and Dad were so proud of us.." He hummed and folded his arms resting his head down on the desk.

After half an hour or so, she had a solution. Ava stood and walked over to Ira's bedroom, not bothering to knock. "I'm not going to kill you this time. But I need your help."

He shot up from his desk, having started to drift off. Good thing he hadn't been getting changed or anything at the time. "Whaa..?" He yawned and rubbed his eyes.

Also I just used a very large knife but it was to chop rhubarb leaves off machete-style, not to kill Ira
She walked over to the desk he was at and grabbed a blank piece of paper and a pen, then sat on his bed. She wrote her name and her request, then rolled the paper up and put it to her lips so she could blast a puff of flame into it. -
Ira watched her curiously, wondering exacfly what she was doing. He thought she was going to to smoke the paper, but the fire seemed to come out of nowhere. He figured it was just some trick. "What was that just now?"

Ava smiled a little. "I told you, I'm a demon. Humans are so thick sometimes. If we're lucky, I'll--" Before she could finish her sentence, there was a burst of flame above Ira. A scroll fell from it and landed on his head before falling to the floor. She beamed as she grabbed it. "Finally! They're responding to me!"

Ira rolled his eyes and went to speak but was quickly cut off by the scroll that knocked him on the top of his head. He grumbled a curse and rubbed the sore spot as the self-proclaimed demon picked up the scroll to read it. "Exactly what are you wanting help with..?"

"I'm going to regret giving you this, but it's a list of crimes I've arranged for the next... year, maybe? It's not like you can read the language it's in, anyway. I just needed your help getting it." She beckoned for him to scoot his chair over, then unrolled the worn-looking paper on the bed in front of her. She didn't mention that the information on it was written in blood, and hoped he wouldn't notice.

"But exactly how am I supposed to 'help' you with this? I stop crimes, not cause them." He grumbled and rolled his chair over to the bed. How lovely, a scroll from 'Hell' written in 'blood'. And what kind of language would it be? 'Demonic'?

"I don't need your help anymore, I just needed it to get this." She pointed to the scroll. "Let's see... today, a man who's already on his way to hell is committing suicide by driving himself off a bridge... in half an hour, roughly." Ava grinned at him. Why was he annoyed? She was helping him, in a way.

"Are you saying you want me to stop these crimes and suicides from occurring? That's not very demon-like." Ira was obviously joking, still not sure if this was some magic trick or maybe even a dream, but it felt like reality.

"I guess, some, but you're too pure. If I hang around, I'll corrupt you to a degree. More fun than sleeping with people and tricking them into murder." She rolled the scroll up again, then bopped him on the head with it. "You don't get to decide what's demon-like."

"But if I stop people from doing what they're doing, and you're the one giving me the information, then that doesn't make you seem like much of a demon. Are you sure you're not a fallen ang--OW!" The human whimpered as the already sore spot was hit again. He might have to walk around with an icepack for awhile.

She rolled her eyes. "Nope. Definitely not. You're a bit of a wimp, by the way." She whacked his arm, though more gently this time.
