Will nodded lightly and smiled. "That's the spirit Maria. I'll be here to help you all the way through it."

Maria smiled at her. "Thank you Will. For everything. Ever since we've met all you've done is help me...so thank you." It was true. From the time she'd announced Maria pregnacy to shortly earlier when she'd lost her arm to save Delilah, all she had done was help.

Will smiled mored and shook her head. "Maria I am here to help always. that is my sworn duty to the Wolfe Family, a last name you will be taking." she grew silent for a moment. "All of us are here to serve and protect."

"You're not just here to serve though, Will. You're my friend, and Sebastian thinks of you as a friend too." Maria told her with a small smile.

She sighed lightly and shook her head. "You are stubborn, but yes you two are my friends and will always be my friends but Brenda..."

"Brenda loves you more than anyone." Maria finished for her. "Like you said, she's angry because she does love you. Give her a night to cool off and the you two will be fine." She reassured the doctor.

"If you say so Maria." she pulled out a sucker from thin air and put it in her mouth. " Now Maria I must be getting dressed for sleep." she mumbled around the sucker.

Maria nodded and stood. "Right. Good night, then." She stepped out of the room and went to her and Sebastian's. She layed down under the covers, but tried not to fall asleep. If Will or Sadie needed anything she wanted to ready to help, and without Sebastian in the bed with her she knew she'd have nightmares...

Sebastian went back to his room and saw Maria was in the bed already. He smiled lightly and placed the papers he had in his hand down on a dresser top and walked over to her. "You okay?" He sat down on the bed.

She sat up next to him and nodded. "I think so. I'm just angry at myself. I couldn't protect Sadie, I couldn't protect Will, and I almost Delilah killed." She said, looking down. "I'm sorry..."

He pulled her onto his lap and hugged her tightly. "I'm happy you all are safe, even if Will doesn't have an arm or her left eye anymore. You did great from what I saw in the hallway, even if Will got hurt. She's proud of you right?"

Maria sighed. "I hope so. I'm glad he left before anyone else was hurt." She mumbled into his neck, hugging him back and closing her eyes.

He chuckled lightly and hugged her tighter. "If I showed up while he was still here, he'd have been dead." He kissed her cheek. "Go to sleep dear. I'll be here to help Sadie and Will."

Maria nodded and gave him a grateful smile. She kissed him quickly and climbed back under the covers, snuggling up and closing her eyes. After just a few moments she was fast asleep.

He ran his hand through her hair as she slept. He stayed up the whole night seeing if Sadie or Will needed something. They didn't but he could never be too sure.
