Sadie blushed lightly and shook her head. "I-it's not that good..." She mumbled lightly and looked at Maria.

Maria smiled brightly at her. "Sadie, this is beautiful! This is really amazing...." She shook her head and gazed at the drawing, taking in just how real it looked. Like she could almost reach out and feel the velvety petals, or prick herself on one of the thorns.

Sadie blushed more when the youngest boy walked in, seeing her drawing and gaped in awe at it. "Wow thats beautiful!"

Maria smiled, and got up to make room for the boy. "Isn't it? Sadie drew it." She explained.

Sadie blushed deeply and dropped the pad, rushing off out of the room and into the backyard.

Maria smiled and laughed lightly. It was cute that Sadie was so modest. But her smile fell away as she followed after her. She was anxious after the fog had appeared yesterday, and didn't want Sadie in the backyard alone.

Sadie hid behind one of the cherry blossom trees and mumbled to herself. she shivered lightly when it started raining.

Maria ran back to the house and reappeared holding an umbrella. She approached Sadie slowly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you." She said, holding out the umbrella.

Sadie moved away from Maria, still embarassed and a little bit scared. She curled up more against the tree, a scar showed from under her dress sleeve.

Maria knelt down beside her and lifted the umbrella to cover her. "Sadie...it's okay..." She was worried and curious about the scar, but didn't want to bother her by asking.

"N-no..." She curled up more and started shaking. "I-I dont want to be p-punished..."

"Punished?" Maria asked, horrified. Whatever Sadie had been through before the manor wasn't good. She moved and wrapped one arm around her shaking form, holding the umbrella up with the other. "You did nothing wrong Sadie, everything's okay."

Sadie hugged her tightly, keeping a good grip on Maria. she started crying into her shoulder, hiccuping lightly.

Maria lifted her up and held her tightly, carrying her back into the house. She sat down on the couch and rubbed her back soothingly. "It's okay Sadie, everything is okay..."

Sadie again cried herself to sleep in Maria's arms, gripping onto her. The boys had already left.
