Maria instinctively wrapped an arm protectivley around Sadiw. Her eyes narrowed at the sight of Clark's face on the screen. She sighed lightly when the others said the orphanage fire was an accident, remembering what Sebastian had said about it being caused on purpose.

One of the reporters, a demon none the less was yelling at Clark, telling him to speak the truth that he had a daughter that was placed at the orphanage. Clark snarled at the reporter and grabbed his throat. A few officers pulled Clark off and the reporter ran off. Clark muttered he had no daughter. Sadie blinked lightly and tilted her head. "Liar..."

Maria shook her head, no longer surprised at Clark's actions, but still disgusted. "He's horrible..." She murmured, watching the poor reporter and the officers holding Clark back.

Sadie watched the news change to a commercial and she blinked lightly, watching the brightness of the colors in the commercial.

Maria sighed lightly and turned back to her book, one arm still around Sadie. She was glad to see the tv change topic to a bright commercial rather than the orphanage 'accident'. -
It's 9:27 am so it's morning. :P and I'm bored really, watching destination truth. You?)
Sadie grabbed the remote and started flipping through the channels, seeing if she could find anything else. -
Ah, I think I'm about an hour ahead of you then, it's 10:30 here. I'm not really doing much, drawing and being too lazy to work on my writing.)
Maria snuggled into the couch cushions, becoming rather absorbed in her book. -
That seems fun. :D)
Sadie blinked and looked up at the book Maria was reading. "Mom...you knoe that's a romance novel right?" She giggled lightly. -
Yeah except I'm running out of drawing paper..)
Maria blushed faintly and glanced back at the book's summary on the back cover. "Oh...right." She blushed and smiled, a little embarrased. It was a good book though... -
That sucks! D: I hate when that happens.)
Sadie giggled more and shook her head, seeing a cartoon show pop up onto the tv, causing her to stay focused on the tv. -
I know, and I don't have any money to but new paper right now ;-;)
Maria's blush faded, and she silently thanked the tv for recapturing Sadie's attention. She smiled and went back to her book, her eyes flitting over the text. -
Awe I'm broke too so I'm saving all my art paper. My car is a pain to pay for.)
Sadie giggled lightly and clapped watching the tv. -
Ah, that stinks..)
Maria smiled, hearing her giggling happily. She was relieved at how quickly Sadie had adjusted to the manor. She seemed more comfortable around herself and Sebastin, which also made her happy. -
Eh I'm just happy to have a car now. :3)
Sadie soon yawned lightly and started to fall asleep on the couch, curling up near a pillow and mumbling lightly. -

Maria turned the volume on the tv down just slightly so it wouldn't keep Sadie awake. She absentmindedly stroked the little girl's hair with one hand as she read.
