Maria heard her cry and turned back, rushing into the room. She saw Will and carefully helped her up, sitting her on the bed. She didn't ask any questions, merely wiped her tears away and hugged Will gently. -
You can have her. :3)
Will cried more. "Everything hurts...everything hurts..." the claw marks on her eye looked terrible, even after Will had healed it. Her stub of an arm looked terrible also. -
"I'll get the pain medication. I'll be right back." She answered quickly. She walked out and appeared a moment later with the basket of medical supplies. She dug through it and emerged with a little bottle. She tilted it and two small pills came tumbling out. She rose and filled a glass of water and handed it and the pills out to Will. "It'll be okay."

Will took the pills and downed the water quickly, still shaking a bit, but her claw marks and stub looked better. "I messed up Maria..." she used her one hand to cover her bad eye as she squeezed her other eye shut.

"It wasn't your fault. I shouldn't have gotten in the way." She sat down on the bed next to her and placed a hand on her good arm's shoulder. "As for Brenda, you two will work things out. She'll come around. She was probably just worried about you."

"No we won't, she hates me now and is probably moving out of my apartment as we speak. She's one to hold a grudge Maria, she will be mad at...both of us for a while." Will sighed lightly and ran her only hand through her hair lightly. "It seems we both have gotten on her bad side."

Maria shook her head. "It's different for you. She might never forgive me, I've seen her hold a grudge, but she won't hold this against you. She loves you, and she knows that you love her. She wouldn't throw that away.

Will laughed lightly and shook her head. "Trust me....Brenda has held a grudge longer against me because she loves me." She sighed lightly. "I forgot my suckers at home.."

Maria blinked. "Suckers? If you want I can drive you to your apartment. Or you just stay the night here and drive back in the morning."

"Brenda is trying to get me to quit smoking, for her sake I started eating suckers..." she stopped for a moment. "But now I really don't know if I should quit." She waved her hand. "No it's fine, I'll get them tomorrow." She looked at Maria. "You're worried about something Clark said."

"Is...is Sadie really his daughter?" She asked, looking concerned.
It wouldn't change her opinion of Sadie, she loved the girl dearly, but if Sadie was his daughter that just made attacking her all the more awful. -
Will stayed quiet for a moment and nodded her head slowly. "She's four now, so she was born three years ago. That's when Brenda's sister was take into Clark's...abomination of a home. He called a colleague of mine over and I assisted him. He brutally raped and bit one of his maids. It was Brenda's sister, we took her out of the house and waited until the baby was born, she wanted to keep Sadie, no matter who her father was. But...Clark found out and a month after Sadie's birth...Gale was found dead in the streets."

Maria covered her mouth and gasped. "That's awful...Clark...he deserves to die. Why is he after Sadie?" She asked, sounding a little nervous.

She shrugged. "Only the maniac knows, but it is probably because he is reminded of her. Gale hated Clark, that's why he was attracted to her in the first place." She growled lightly. "he raped and bit her to show she was his property. vampires are monsters and yet they rule the streets with an iron fist."

"That's horrible. To think someone would do that..." She shuddered, once again glad she had fallen into Sebastian's merciful hands rather than someone like Clark. "If he comes again I'll be ready. I'll train my powers. He won't ever hurt anyone I care about again." She murmured to herself.
