Maria tried to calm down and stopped crying. "I'm sorry I couldn't fight him by myself..." She murmured softly, beginning to pick up the glass shards that littered the floor.

He stopped her and hugged her again. "Maria it's alright, you did your best and I'm glad all of you are safe." He smiled at her.

Maria hugged him back. "I'm so sorry..." She felt so useless, and promised herself to start training her powers. She needed to be able to protect the people she cared about. And as much as she hated to admit it, she couldn't go protecting people. She would risk Delilah getting hurt.

He kissed her temple gently and glanced at Will. "How are you going to explain to Brenda?" She shrugged lightly. "I'll tell her the truth, but right now.." she grabbed her head. "I feel off..."

Maria quickly went to her side. "You should rest. You can stay here." She looked at Sebastian to see if that was okay with him. She glanced worriedly over Will, hoping she hadn't been injured somewhere else.

Will glanced up at him and saw him smile lightly. "She is allowed to stay here as long as she wants." He helped Will to one of the rooms down the hall and sighed lightly when he finally set her down. He looked at Maria. "You need to call Brenda."

Maria nodded. She knew Brenda was going to hate her for letting Will get hurt, but she had to know what happened. She picked up the phone and dialed the number, waiting for Brenda to pick up.

Brenda picked up quickly. "Hello Will? Is everything okay?" She was worried when Will said she was going back to check on Maria.

"Clark was here," She said in a shaky voice. "It's Will. You need to come over." She felt more tears starting and wiped them away quickly.

Brenda dropped the phone and it hit the hang up button for her, she ran to the door and jumped into the spare car Will had and drove off to the manor.

Maria turned to Sebastian, tears in her eyes. "Sebastian she'll hate me. She'll absolutely hate me it's all my fault..."

Sebastian hugged her gently and whispered calming things to her. "She won't hate you Maria...she'll be worried about Will." He kissed her forehead gently. "It will be fine."
Brenda came through the door of the manor looking scared out of her mind. "Were is she?! What the hell did you do Maria?!" -
Maria took a step back, staying close to Sebastian. "S-She's upstairs, I-I'm so s-sorry..." She looked on the verge of sobbing again, Brenda's tone cut straight through her heart. Brenda was right though. Maria had done it. Will was hurt because of her...

Brenda was about to lash out at Maria again when she saw a flash of black and white appear in front of her. Sadie frowned at her. "Leave my mom alone! She was trying to protect me, so yell at me!" Tears had built up in the little girl's violet eyes and Sebastian lifted the poor girl up. Brenda stormed off to where Will was.

Maria wiped at her eyes and smiled softly. "Thank you Sadie, but no one should yell at you for this. Actually I want to say thank for for doing what I asked and staying upstairs." She said.
