"He's not blood thirsty, you're just overreacting." She remarked, and scratched under Riot's chin. He purred loudly, nuzzling her hand affectionately.

Kazuki stared at the thing in her hands, eyes wide.
"Blood-thirsty." he whispered at it dramatically. -
Loralei rolled her eyes. "Fine. Whatever you want to think." She smiled, hugging Riot one more time before setting him back on the ground.

Kazuki took a step back and tried to ignore the cat. He opened his mouth to continue whatever conversation he had started, but
f---. What did I come in here for? -
Riot darted off toward the back to curl up and sleep.
Loralei watched him leave, then turned back to Kazuki.
"Can I help you?" -
Kazuki blinked and then grinned wickedly as he remembered.
"Don't you remember what happened last time you said that to me?" -
She frowned "I was trying to forget." She muttered.

He tilted his head, crossing his feet.
"How's that working out for ya?" -
"Kind hard to forget when you're still here. "She huffed, wishing she still had more books to put up. She'd just finished all her work, though.

He shrugged, walking further into the library and looking around again.
"This place is boring." -
"Don't you read?" She said, pulling a book off the shelf and flipping through the pages.

"No."

"That's sad. Reading is fun. Keeps you entertained.."She trailed off, reading the page she'd flipped to. She had a habit of doing that. Warren was usually around to snap her out of it, but today he wasn't.

Kazuki sniffed. He'd threatened her life less than two hours ago. She couldn't really just ignore him now, could she? He paced around behind her, looking irritably over her shoulder. Though he'd intended to do something along the lines of slamming the book shut in her hands or maybe even licking her face so she'd get disgusted and pay attention to him, the words on the page caught his attention first, and he took a moment to read a few lines.

Loralei continued reading, turning the page after a few minutes.
