I have two plots, one about two kids, a Princess and a maids son, who were switched at birth because the King needed an heir, or a story about an alien from another dimension who came to earth to find a way to break her curse.
-
I think that first one sounds interesting. :3
-
Okay! So I want to be the princess if that's okay?
-
Fine by me. :3 That makes me a maid's son who I assume was raised to be a king. Does my character know about his real parentage?
-
No he doesn't. Neither know.
Okay then one sec and I'll post my charrie -
Awesome. :3 I'll make mine as well.
-
Wait nevermind I've got Kazuki.
-
Kazuki, okay I'll still need his info cause I have a hard time remembering things.
Sorry internets being weird, give me a minute to get my pic... -
Name: Loralei La Belle
Age: however old Kazuki is.
Parents: Mariposa and Varden La Belle
Other: Was raised by a house maid and a soldier, has her own job of working in the royal library. Has a pet cat that stays with her in the library named Riot. -
Alright.
Name: Kazuki
Sex: Male
Age: 18 years
Background: Was raised exactly how you said- as an heir. He wasn't treated as a son or a child but as a trainee for the throne. He feels smothered by the life he lives but works hard at it in hopes of making his father happy. He behaves snobbishly toward everyone but his father because he's seen other royals do it a lot and attributes that behavior to royals accordingly. His attitude makes everyone go away before he can make friends, but if he ever did find someone he particularly liked, he would become the single most dependent, clingy person ever simply because he longs to be loved by someone. Because of this, if anyone hangs around long enough to make it seem as though they may want to be his friend, he can easily be influenced by them. -
Alright. I'll start.
Loralei Sat at the Librarians desk, petting Riot. The librarian, a grumpy man named Warren, didn't allow her near his desk, but what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
She glanced around the empty room, considering whether to put books up like she was expected to do or take a nap. -
Kazuki wandered the hallways of the (palace?). He stretched his arms over his head, bored and frustrated with the lack of people to f--- with or food to eat. He was well aware that his father's meeting was important, but it was taking soooo long. He shouldn't make his son wait to eat just so he can feel respected. That was just cruel.
Nothing interesting ever happened outside of people being sentenced to execution (it was particularly amusing when siblings or friends came and begged for leniency). Every now and then a servant would quit and storm out. That appeared to be all he had in the way of fun. He yawned loudly, not bothering to cover his mouth. No one was around anyway. -
(Palace, castle, whatever you want to say I don't care.)
Loralei decided against napping, and grabbed an workload of books and began putting them on the correct shelf.
Riot, annoyed that he was no longer her center of attention, followed her, meowing loudly.
Loralei glared down at the large brown tabby, huffing. "Shut up won't you, I can't think straight!"
Riot stared up at her, finally quieting. Loralei began to climb a ladder to return two books, hoping Riot would remain quiet. -
Kazuki had intended to go to the garden, but, finding himself having once again wandered off to some unfamiliar part of the *castle* (decidedly :P) he opened the closest door and strolled in nonchalantly. It struck him that he was surrounded by books, and, shoving his hands begrudgingly into his pockets, he acknowledged the distinct lack of entertainment in that, too. Admittedly, he'd never cared for reading. All he'd ever been taught to read were business proposals, records, audit reports.. He meandered along through the shelves, running his fingers along the beautifully aligned spines of the books- he would definitely have to mess them up later- before stopping to watch a small girl placing a couple books on the higher up shelves. He grinned to himself. There was an infinite number of ways he could have fun with this situation. He noted the cat- that was a bit misplaced, now wasn't it?- and took a few steps closer to the ladder. Some part of him thought it would be hilarious to tip it over and watch the girl break her back and die. He fought that part back on the basis that it was illegal. And immoral. But mostly illegal.
-
Riot noticed Kazuki entered and watched him curiously. Loralei, on the other hand, didn't. So when she finished placing the books and climbed down she was startled to see him there.
She wasn't used to seeing people in here. Most people just asked for the books to be taken to them, instead of coming here directly. She quickly collected her books off the floor, then turned to him.
"Hello, may I help you?"
