She thought for a moment. "Hm.. Noon?" She nodded slowly. "Yeah noon will work. I shouldn't have anything." Grins at him.

"Me neither," he said. "I'll see you then, Vivian?" he asked hopefully, not wanting to part.

"Of course Jake." She smiled and let go of his hand. She slid deeper into the water and gave him once last look and waved "Goodnight!" before slipping under the water and swimming away.

"Goodnight," he said, nodding to her. He watched her go, then went back to his apartment, where he crashed quickly.

She swam quickly and silently before slipping into her room. She quickly fell asleep with a human man in her head and in her dreams.

Jake slept well, on his bare matress, thinking about the mermaid girl he'd met. When dawn came, he woke, starting his excerise regimin.

When she woke up she suddenly was rushed into her daily thing. "Princess, you must be ready." Fretted an older and plump looking mermaid. "It's okay Mrs. Coral. I'll be ready whenever the time comes." They were trying to teach her to be more lady like but it just was not happening.

Running five miles, swimming three, plus at least three hundred sit ups, push ups, and pull ups was his daily routine, keeping him in shape and whipping up a good sweat.

She groaned clearly irritated by ten. Pulling away from all the stressing mermaids she pulled out the ear rings, took of the necklace, let her hair down, and took the stupid tiara off.

He put on a pair of shorts, a gray shirt, and his Oakleys before setting out for the cave.

Swimming away from it all she found herself more relaxed in open waters then surrounded by annoying people. Soon the cave came into sight and she swam a little faster.

He found his way inside and stood on the edge, by the water.

She leaped up out of the water hoping to scare him and laughed landed back in the water the way a dolphin might before she re-appears and sits on the edge with her tail in the water.

Jake laughed, "hey," he smiled slightly at her.

"God, today sucked." She huffed and looked at her own tail in boredom.
