Jake swam with her, and as she clasped the bracelet onto his wrist, he looked at her tenderly before his air gave out. He swam back up to the surface, wishing he didn't have to part.

She watched him and swam up after him more slowly. She swam in a spiral with her hair flowing around her like a blaze of fire in all the blue.

He broke the surface and gasped down air, looking down and seeing her ghostly image in the water.

She popped up infront of him and blinked. "You okay?" She frowned looking for signs of blue lips or anything that ment lack of air.

"Yeah," he nodded, "just stayed down a little too long." Jake lifted the bracelet up, looking at it. "Thank you," he said, smiling.

"Anytime." She smiled happily and looked up at the sky. After a moment she looked back down at him. "Do you like here? It's more quiet."

"I do," he said. "Want to go back to the cave?"

She nodded and started floating on her back using her tail to slowly propell her forward.

He started a quick, efficent stroke beside her, heading back where they'd came.

Once they got near she went under and I the under water tunnels to get inside.

He did the same, behind her. Once they surfaced, Jake breathed. "That was a lot of fun."

She grinned. "Glad I can humor you." She streached out on the sand on her stomach and left her tail tip in the water.

"I wish there was something I could do for you," he said.

"I wish there was something I could do for you," he said.

"What do you mean?" Tilts head and looks at him. She pulled herself competly out but stayed on her stomach.
