She leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled slightly. Everything was.. Good.

He smiled, leaning his cheek to hers. "Thank you, Vivian..."

"Thank you, Jake." She said quietly and closed her eyes.
(Hmm.. I'm feeling like it's my turn to have a plot twist.) -
[I've got one soonish, but do throw me one]
"You showed me how to love again." He whispered. -
Vivian didn't catch the flash of dark silver under the water. "Good, I just wanted to ell you." She said quietly.

He did, and he froze. "There's something under us," he whispered.

Vivian frowned and leaned over to look. A hand slipped out of the water and grabbed her tail and dragged her down. "What the hell Viv!?" A small merman swam infront of her. He had glasses, red hair, and green eyes. "A human? Seriously?" He yelled. Vivian pushed him. "Seriously Adam?!" She huffed.

Jake cursed, ran back in to grab his knife, and jumped in beside her, holding the knife ready to strike at the man.

Adam pales an covers his face. "Get that.. Beast away!" Vivian face palmed. "My god Adam.. Go back to your books." She huffed an rubbed her face. "He's nice thank you very much." Looks like an angry child.

He was within reach, and one powerful kick could take him out.
