"Thank you," he whispered, suddenly twisting to embrace her.

She jumped at the sudden contact but then relaxed and wrapped her arms back around him. "Anytime." She said quietly.

Jake pulled away slightly, "I'm sorry, about being an ass before."

A ghost of a smile crossed her lips. "It happens.. Though, try not to be an ass again or I'll just throw you to the sharks." Grins.

He smiled, "I won't, promise."

"Good." Smiles an finds herself not wanting to pull away.

Jakes heart beat almost painfully in his chest, as he committed to his next move. He leaned towards her only slightly.

Vivian lifted her face towards his but didn't move any closer. He knew how she felt, this war wasn't hers anymore. It was his.

Jake blinked, closed his eyes, and kissed her, closing the distance.

Vivian sighed quietly and closed her eyes. She gentle kissed him back.

Jake kissed her for a second before breaking off, his eyes softening.

She gentle cradled his cheek with a hand and watched him.

He blinked at her, smiling as he moved a little closer.

Vivian's heart swelled as she watched him. She chewed on her lower lip slightly.

Jake wrapped an arm around her, content.
