She narrowed her eyes seeing something along the shore. Slowly and silently she swam up and giggled quietly to find the man from earlier asleep on the rock. "Kinda cute.." She mused quietly as she watched him.

His eyes squinted closed, his hands balling into fists of stone. It was an often nightmare... Having to identify Angela's body.

She frowned and pulled herself up on to the sand up next to him. She lightly cupped his cheek with a hand frowning. "Shh.." She whispers quietly trying to calm him.

A tear slipped from the corner of his eye, as he awoke. Jake just looked at her, unable to find words. Finally, he looked away, ashamed.

Vivian frowned and carefully brushed away the tear with her finger. "Don't be sad." She said simple. She didn't like it when he was sad.

"You... Wouldn't understand..." he whispered, still looking away.

She frowned and grabbed his chin forcing him to look at her. "You know," she said simple. "Not everyone cares when you have a weakness." She let go and started to pull away.

He blinked, and was almost tempted to reach out to her. "Wait," he looked at her, "can you just, stay a little?"

She nodded slowly and pulled up next to him. Her tail next to his legs. "You seemed to be having a nightmare." She started slowly watching the waves crash against the shore. "You okay?" She turned to look at him.

"I'll say I am," he whispered. "Whats your name?"

"Vivian. And you?" She started to draw in the sand absenmindidly. Watching the stars and moon from up here was.. Intoxicating.

"Jacob," he said, watching her. "You, listened to my nightmare?"

She shook her head and pointed to the moon. "The moon called me. When I came up I felt your despair and sadness. Your fear. So.. I came to so what I do best. Help." Shrugs and lowers hand an looks at him.

"Thank you," he whispered, not able to make much else.

She shrugged and flapped her tail. "No problem." She sighed. "You reminded me of a baby animal lost and crying for its mother. That's how sad you were." Frowns. "You lost someone didn't you?"
