(And now I must leave to go to my meeting with King Chocolate. Good day! *disappears*)

IHLAOY NewbieMacaria took a moment to poke her head over the top of the ditch she'd found herself in. In light of recent events, the likes of which happened quickly and without suspense, Macaria slowed down to recap the situation.
1. Hades was alive. Well, that wasn't accurate, he was always alive, per say, but now he wasn't contained. Little difference, but Macaria felt it necessary to highlight that. She didn't need to kill Hades, she needed to CONTAIN Hades.
2. Demetria was missing, that was a bad thing. It severely limited her options. A part of her considered searching for her, but another part was also aware of the danger she was in.
3. Hades was immune to poison. Good to know.
If she could just get back to town, or even better, the Underworld, she'd have a much better chance of getting through all this alive. With a nearly silent step, Macaria stepped forward; trying her best to stick to the ground as closely as possible. -
"Shoot! Y'know you could try and make my duty a teensy bit easier!", he called as he ran after her, tripping and stumbling over roots and branches, Useless feet! How do land folk mangae with such floppy things?. Ofcourse, he too heard the screams. And of course...Diana being Diana runs towards the danger, though its that Hero in her he figured
-
"Where would the fun in that be?" Diana called over her shoulder, almost tripping over a tree root again. She slowed down slightly, to view her surroundings better, all the while aware of Kaede tripping and stomping and making all kinds of noise. It was getting irritating. "Will you shut it back there?!" She yelled at him again. Causing her to almost miss a ditch in which what looked like a girl about her age was hiding. She skidded to a stop and walked over. "Uh, hi?"
-
Demetria slowed down to a stop. "Well Macaria, I guess we lost them." She turned around but didn't see her friend. A truth dawned on her. Demetria had lost her friend. "Crap," she muttered. Demetria started running in the more hidden areas back to where her home was. Being born on the land, Demetria could use her legs better on land then any of the other areas. She hoped that nothing had happened to Macaria.
-
IHLAOY NewbieMacaria reacted instantly and without hesitation, pulling the girl into the ditch with her. Moving aside to give her some more room, Macaria spoke, "We need to get out of here. It's not safe, and I'd rather not need to spend all my 'speak with dead' spells today. Now come on."
-
Diana looked at the girl. "Who the hell do you think you are?" She said, moving away from her, secretly hoping Kaede would run straight past. She could still hear his footsteps getting closer. "Look, I don't know who you are, or what your doing. Heck, I don't even know how old you are, but I would appreciate it if you told me what the danger was." She said, staying low to the ground, her hair full of leaves and dirt, along with her clothes.
-
Demetria finally saw the small house. Hades was siting on a broken rock drinking more poison. Demetria grimaced. She didn't even want to know how that tasted. Hades turned so his fiery eyes were on her. Demetria quickly ducked behind a tree. Too bad she couldn't morph into a tree yet. She peeked from behind the tree and saw Hades was paying attention to his drink again. Demetria quickly scanned the area. She didn't see Macaria anywhere. Then she noticed a ditch a little while away. Demetria sighed in relief and started running in that direction when the area around her exploded, throwing Demetria into the air and falling onto the ground. Hades walked up to her. "As I said, you can't escape me."
-
Diana saw an explosion and someone was launched into the air."Look. I've got my super annoying, super determined and super clumsy on land trainer back there, who, by the way, I do not want to find me again. So, I don't know about you, but I'm getting a better view of the area, thank you very much." She said to the mysterious girl, who she suspected was a Necromancer. With that, she turned into water and sank into the dirt.
-
IHLAOY Newbie"Alright, listen, if I told you what was happening, you wouldn't believe me, so let's just say..." Macaria started, before the girl dissolved and disappeared into the earth. "God, I hate Naiads." Macaria commented, mainly to herself, before standing back up. If anything was going to move this plot along, it was going to have to be her.
Walking forward, Macaria swallowed loudly; standing directly in front of Hades. "Alright, I think you've made your point. What do you want? Is it to kill me? Demetria? The others, who I assume exist somewhere? What?" -
The girl started talking as she sank into the ground, and Diana considered going back. She decoded against it; what was the point. She moved through the dirt, and came up behind a rock. She peered around it, and saw a man, towering over another girl. The Necromancer stepped out and spoke to the man. Diana signaled for her to ignore her, and she crept around to a better hiding spot; next to the creek. Finally back in her natural element. She grinned and winked at them both as she slipped under the water.
-
Demetria looked up and saw Macaria. She smiled. She found her friend. Demetria looked at Hades and scowled at him. She slowly stood up beside Macaria. Her left ankle hurt a bit, but through all the years of training, Demetria learned how to ignore the pain.
Hades smiled wickedly. "What do I want? Well I don't want to make it story time but I'm pretty sure you all know the story about your parents killing me. Of course it was only temporarily, but they were considered dangerous. So I killed them with the last of my power. But then I heard that their offspring had the same potential as them in terms of power. So naturally I have to destroy you, or you will pose a threat to my cause." -
Diana froze on hearing that. No... It-it couldn't be. That's impossible. she thought, but the logical side knew better. This was Hades, and he was set on killing her (not that he knew she existed yet, of course, but still). She looked around for Kaede; he wasn't in sight. Good. Then he can't stop me. With some lecture about being rational. she thought, trying to get a better view of her new-found enemy. Having failed, she sank deeper beneath the water, so that she fully blended in, but could still keep an eye out.
-
IHLAOY Newbie"Right, of course. Why would it be anything else? So go ahead then." Macaria said, raising her arms. "Strike me down. Come on, god boy, simple stab to the heart, quick and easy, all you need to do."
Macaria shuffled her feet, opening her legs wider and improving her stance. She really hoped she knew what she was doing, otherwise she might look like quite the idiot right now. But again, improv always was a subject of interest to her. -
Demetria frowned. "I hope you know what your doing," she whispered to Macaria. She turned to Hades. "I'm done running." Demetria raised her arms.
Hades laughed. "You girls don't know what your getting into. I'm a god, and your acting like you expect mercy. Don't bother because you won't get it." Hades pointed a finger at Macaria. A large green flame began forming on his finger. "This is going to hurt a bit. Or a lot."
