I looked at him, reading on a beach? Sure, from experience I knew it was great but on a sunny day like this with a beautiful ocean? Hmph. I won't force him. I untied my towel from my waiste and made my way towards the water, slowly.t

He glanced up as she headed down the beach. Then he returned to his reading, his hand reaching down every now and then to grab some sand and let it slowly fall through his fingers.

I waded in the water, enjoying its cool caress on my skin. The sun warmed me and I could already feel myself getting a few freckles, "Maxxy! Come here! The waters great"

He shook his head. "No thanks!"

"Don't make me come and get you!"

"I'd like to see you try!" he replied.

"Alright!", I grinned. Running out from the water, my costume and hair sticking to me I ran towards him. Soaking wet, I hugged him from behind(cause I didn't want his book to get wet), making his clothes wet, "I won't let go"

He felt her grip tighten, squeezing his wings uncomfortably. "What do I have to do to make you lye go?" he asked.

I loosened my grip, but still hugged him. I don't know how to describe it but his back didn't feel like a normal back, something was different, "Swim with me"

"I don't want to," he murmured. Truthfully, his wings would show through the shirt and they'd be too wet for him to do anything until the next morning.

"At least wade through it, knee deep and then you can go if you don't like it"

"Fine." He awkwardly tossed the book onto the sand.

"Thank you! I promise you'll love it", I said standing up and offering my hand

He stood, not taking her hand.
