"Honestly, nobody tells me anything around here." He gently yet firmly took her bags from her, heading toward the stairs.

I followed behind him, "Why not? You live here too"

He shrugged, taking two steps at a time. Once he reached the top, he peeked into the room at the end of the hall, then walked in. "Are you okay with this room?

I looked into the room and grinned, the window seat got me. "Its perfect, thank you. Hmm...I didn't catch your name"

"Maxwell," he responded, and left.

Hmph. Nice two minute conversation.
Looking out the window I caught sight of the beautiful beach, I smiled to myself. Good to know there's something I can do. -
He returned to his room and flopped down on the bed.

I hastily unpacked, throwing things here and there. By the time I was done, my room looked a mess. But its my mess. Changing into a swimming costume, I walked out my room, bag in hand, ready to do some...well relaxing. Seeing as I haven't done that in a while

The door was only about a quarter shut. From the corner of his vision, he saw her walk past.

I had my earphones dangling around my neck, my hips swayed to the beat and I hummed to the tune. Maybe at the beach I can get to know the people in this area

He smirked, then returned to the book he was reading.

Noticed Max's door open just a little bit, I peeked my head in, "Hey Max, I'm going to the beach, wanna come?"

He looked up. "... No thanks."

I waggled my eyebrows, "Hmm....are you doing the whole 'hide-dirty-magazine-in-book-thing?"

"No." he responded, not looking at her.
