I glanced up at Diana. "Okay." I said slowly. "Nico. Can you stand?" He nodded, staring at me, confused. "Who are you?" He whispered hoarsely. I frowned. "Wesley Anne Taylor. Undetermined. Stand up, son of Hades. We'll get you back to the other half-bloods."
"I know who your dad is." He said gravely. I froze. My mother scowled. "He will claim her soon." She told him, her long brown hair falling around her head. "He forbade even me from telling her." Nico scowled back. "He can't see the pain he's causing her." He insisted. "She must be told."
"No." Mom said. It was final, her decision. I set my emotions to stone. "Let's just get you to the others." I said. "We can worry about my parentage later." -
My expression turned just the slightest bit angry. Why couldn't they just tell Wes who her father was? Even if he had forbidden it, this kind of information could save hero de in a battle like this. I stood up, pulling Nico to his feet. "I'm Diana, by the way." I started to walk towards where we could meet up with the others. "Daughter of Hecate."

I whirled around and gasped. Wes's mom had just been there...I shook my head. All the magic and must and stuff sometimes just confused me. I nudged Nico, who still looked a little shaken. "You okay?"
