can someone please explain why america doesn't have laws against convicts running for president-
Like genuinely why, most criminals can't get a job after going to jail, but being president's no problem apparently- -
and the amount of people that didn't fact check anything until after the election- like guys google is a free source why didn't you use it until you already voted? Yall are full grown adults (18 at least) and you still don't know how to open up a computer and fact check things about someone who is potentially running our country??

^^ I saw a vid where a Kamala supporter was at a voting place and there were like crowds of maga people and the Kamala supporter was like “y’all ready to vote for a convicted felon!” and the entire crowd was like “YEAHHHHH”. Why people are like that is beyond me

EXACTLY why would you fact check this?- and the amount of people who just voted for him bc they were doing whatever everyone else was doing is stupid- there are only a few things you have to figure out for yourself and the main two are 1. Religion and 2. Politics. If you can't figure those out for yourself, you aren't emotionally mature enough to vote. Hot take. -

Yeah, like at one point my nana was asking me and my little brother who we would vote for because she couldn't decide and I told her "if you're seriously asking my 11 year old brother who he'd vote for and taking it as advice then don't vote."
Yeah like i admittedly don't know much about Kamala (i didn't feel the need to research bc i can't vote anyways so what's the point in falling down that rabbit hole) other than she wouldn't try to make me and the people around me unsafe and that she's a lawyer so she's not new to this whole politics thing, and in my emotion based mind that's enough -

I will say not every job deserves getting paid 15 bucks an hour so maybe it should be more of an age=minimum wage type thing- I'm also a very privileged child who works because I like it and I want to afford to go on trips in the summer and buy fun s--- so that might be my rich kid ass talking lol
yeah the problem with it is all the anti ads for her was treating her like a demon and all the pro ads for her were treating her like a saint, and ik that's how politics ads work, but it just makes everyone who's convinced she's a demon go nuts whenever the "vote for kamala because she's our savior" ads popped up -

Yeah. Idk minimum wage is a double sided sword bc I personally got paid on the lower end of minimum wage (10 ish bucks an hour) and that's all the money I need bc I just don't really need the money, but ik a lot of people my age who desperately need the money bc of their home (or lack of for some of them), so on one hand there's people who don't need that much money getting paid it and probably wasting it, but then there's other people who need the money much more than anyone tends to realize

Yeah but I guess it depends like if you’re doing hard labour or your job is hard work and you’re only getting paid 5 bucks an hours that’s when we have problem, and teens probably won’t be doing work like that

Yeah. The national minimum wage is 7.25, and most states have a minimum wage higher than that (in my state I believe it's 10 bucks but that's also just how much I was paid so I might be confusing the two-) so there's definitely unfair payment.
