Eric hugged her. "Maybe, but I'll try my best to make sure it doesn't happen again."

I hugged him back."But, how can you do that. Unless you act like a creeper and hide in my closet when he comes home to scare him away, or kill him.....nothing will change." I pulled away and fixed my hair to fall over the bruise.

"I'll think of something." If he could beat Ashley home next time...

"Good luck with that."I said doubtfully.

"Trust me, I will." Eric ran his thumb along the bruise. It quickly healed and disappeared. He'd never exactly known why some had that ability; everyone at home healed so quickly. Maybe this was why. "So, where else did he hurt you?"

I slowly took my jacket off, kind of amazed that he could heal people. I frowned at how many bruises went up my arms and extended to the unseen parts under my shirt. I quickly put it back on a said,"I can cover these up."

"I understand that." Eric took off her jacket, running his hands along her arms gently, smiling as the bruises healed.

I smiled. "That's enough.....Thank you."

Eric nodded, but he secretly wanted to take her shirt off and heal the rest of the bruises. Not because of any perverted reason, but because he couldn't stand to see her hurt.
