"True..." he murmured. She seemed nice, but these humans seemed kinda confusing to Eric.

I tried to think of something to say. I thought,Maybe I should just go with him. I hate everything here and maybe the experiment they're planning isn't that bad."I dismissed the thought, knowing that it was stupid to have self pity.

Eric frowned. He really didn't want her to be the subject of the experiment. He was starting to kinda like her. The chances of their experiment being one she'd easily survive are unlikely. Maybe we can think of something to get out of it...

"Even though you obviously hate it here....er..would you like it if I showed you around?"I asked thinking it sounded even weirder out loud than in my head. I smiled a little.

"Sure, why not?" Eric said, hoping to change the subject to something more pleasant.

"You kinda have to get us down."I said, seeing that there was no hatch on the rooftop to go down by stairs.

"Oh, yeah." Eric took his shirt off and stretched out his wings. "You aren't going to freak out about the height this time, are you?"

Eric walked Ashley over to the edge of the building, and held on to her tightly. "Ready?" He didn't give her a chance to answer, though. Instead of throwing himself off the building, wings open, he wrapped his wings around Ashley and he. He leaped from the building. It was taller than he'd thought, so he had a little more time. Just a few feet from the ground, Eric threw his wings out and they caught like a kite. He smiled, briefly wondering if he'd scared her.

Eric finally touched the ground. He shivered again. "It's colder down here..."

Flying with Eric kinda had a type of roller-coaster feeling for me.It was scary,yet kind of fun. In seconds we were on the ground."He really is kinda sweet."I thought, waiting for him to put his shirt on again.I thought of a few places to go to.

Eric put on shirt again and looked at Ashley. "So, where to?"
(I swear I'm not trying to make him into Taylor Lautner! His wings would easily rip any shirt he tried to put them through...)
