Eric began to pick his way through the landfill, trying to find an exit. This planet, no, this country, will drown in its own waste if it continues like this, Eric thought. The place was disgusting. He heard a loud noise behind him. Turning rapidly, he saw a large waste management truck. The driver didn't see Eric, though he did see a large pile of garbage next to him. The driver drove toward it, grumbling as it fell over. Luckily, Eric dodged it just in time and hurried from the landfill.

I walked past the eastern edge of the landfill and thought," Ick, it's called recycling."

Eric finally escaped the landfill. He saw someone. A girl, to be precise. He watched her quietly for a moment. She'd probably suffice... then I could get out of here.
(What do they want a human for?) -
(they want her for a scientific expirement, and he's like a hunter, people on their planet startworking at thirteen, and you're character's as old as mine now right?)
I felt someone, behind me. I turned around and saw a person watching me. I started to run,"Ashley stop forgetting this is a bad part of town."I thought to myself. -
(Gotcha. And about six months or so younger.)
Eric smiled. She wanted to play chase? He ran after her, catching up in literally a second, and stopping her in her tracks. "Hello." -
I looked at him wide-eyed amazed at how he'd gotten to me so fast."What do you want? My money, my phone???"I said fast looking for something to offer him so I could leave.

"No..." Eric couldn't help but smiled a little at her surprise. She was actually kinda cute when she looked surprised... No. Don't you dare get attached to anyone, especially not a human, Eric reminded himself.

"Then what?"I asked.I looked down, he wasn't grabbing on to me or anything, so I could run."But he would probably just catch up to me again."I thought,"But it's still worth a shot." I started to run.

Eric's arm shot out, grabbing the girl easily. "Don't think you're getting away."

"Let...Me..Go!!!"I said angrily and punching him in the face.

Eric caught her other hand before she could punch him. "No." Unsure of what exactly to do, he picked her up and started walking away. It seemed a little awkward to him, but it wasn't like he'd know her forever or anything...

He stops me,he won't say what he wants, and now he picks me up. That was crossing the line."Why are you doing this?"

"The truth? Because I'm an alien sent from a distant planet to collect a human specimen for scientific experimentation. Can't stand this place you call home, so I'm finishing as soon as possible. I'd find a better subject, but you're the first being I saw." Eric stared at the girl.

"You're crazy,"I shouted. I started trying to kick him. If he really thought he was an alien the world was coming to an end. He was probably one of those stoned people that would do or think anything.

"Oh, I get it... You need proof." Eric smiled. He loved his wings. They were something that not many on his home planet had. "Stop trying to kick me and relax. I'm not going to kill you." Eric set the girl down on the ground and removed his shirt, unfurling his wings and shivering a little. Earth was cold. Eric flapped his fourteen-foot wingspan lightly. "You believe me?"
