He chuckled. "I'd appreciate that so much. Thanks, Michael." He smiled, not really used to calling parents by their first names, but was happy Nick's dad was so laid-back and nice.

"It's no problem. You just focus on school and everything else," he insisted. "And don't be afraid to call me Michael or Dad, I need more children."

He nodded. "Aw okay, Dad." He giggled softly.

He chuckled. "That's my son," he joked, slapping his back softly.

He smiled, chuckling at the joke. "Thanks for accepting us too. You all feel like my family now."

"You're very welcome. We want you to always feel welcome, especially after all you've done." This time he smiled, but it seemed to have a hint of sadness. "Nick was always so depressed and anti-social. Now he's so happy."

"Yeah, I was the same way before I met him... we've saved each other." He said, sharing a same sadish smile.

"I'm glad you did. I'm glad you two are so happy. That's all that matters to us."

He smiled, the feeling of how nice it was for someone to be so kind. Despite his parents being so busy, Nick's family seemed much warmer than what Alex himself was used to.

He's such a kind lad, no wonder my boy likes him, he thought happily, and pointed back to the room. "It's fine to go back, that's all I wanted to talk to you about."

"Okay." He said and walked back into the hospital room with him. He smiled and went back to his love.

Nick smiled when he saw him walk back. He could sense that there wasn't anything bad going on.
"Boys, you don't have to stick around here. Do something fun with your weekend," the dad insisted. -
"You sure?" He looked at all three to make sure.

"Only if you're fine with it dad, and mom too," Nick said softly.
"We'll be fine. Now that she knows you'll be okay."
