Hey, Nick.. Your mother's in the hospital, she got into a car accident and broke an arm, she's going to be okay but she won't be home for a while.. Take care of yourself, okay? Don't worry yourself or the lad. I'll see you Monday, bye bye.
Nick listened until the operator spoke on he options. He stayed quiet and fought the urge to play the message again. He closed his phone and stayed quiet.

Alex looked over curiously. "What'd they say?"

"Oh no.." He spoke worriedly, but put a comforting arm around Nick. "Is she going to be okay?"

"Yeah, she broke her arm though.. and.." his voice only got quieter and his face became pale.

"I want to see her.." Nick whispered softly, shaking in his arms. -
"Do you know where they took her? I'll gladly take you there." He kissed his forehead, frowning in worry for his small love.

"Saint Vicente Hospital, I think.. But it's far." Nick held on to him tightly, almost as though his life depended on it.
Jeez Alice, you can at least come up with a more American name. -
He held him close, pulling him into his arms. "I'll take you though. I want you to feel better."
I like that hospital name. :D -
He nodded. "Thank you.. So much."

He smiled. "Anything for you." He started walking them down some blocks, heading toward the hospital.

The hospital was in the more busier part of town, next to the post office.
Nick stumbled a lot from light pain and followed behind Alex.
